Smart Weigh CW-100G Carbon Steel 100g OIML Class M1: ± 5 mg Calibration Weight with Chrome Finish

Excellent customer service. Having received an empty package from Amazon (the weight had clearly fallen out of the cardboard envelope) I was sent another free of charge by Five Star after already obtaining a refund on the empty package. The weight I received is very good quality finished in chrome and packaged in a handy container to keep the calibration weight clean and free from scratches etc. Would highly recommend both the weight and especially Five Star for the level of customer satisfaction.

I bought this weight to fill up the empty hole in the Smart weigh calibration kit, to make up a full set. It goes into the 100 gram position but is a very tight fit. Surprising. I would have thought they would make it to fit. however it is a very good calibration weight. I checked it with a standard weight set and it is very accurate.

It does its job - basic tool for calibration correct weigh on scales. If you buy any scales for extensive use, don't save money on piece of metal. It can change everything but it's a long story and I have no time - just make up your own mind.5 STARS for design, packaging and usefulness. You buy scales, you buy weight. It resolved a few problems in my case and I don't regret even 1 penny I spent but...

Not much to say about this item. It came in a small plastic box with some inner padding to facilitate this item. It fits perfectly into the box and doesn't rattle, which acts as a nice storage container. The weight works for scale calibration very well on multiple sets of scales. The item is solid metal, so no complains and is obviously well built. The box it came in was a relatively cheap, but thick, plastic, which I managed to snap after a few days (mostly my own fault). The case still fulfils it's purpose with the damage it received. Overall, very happy with this item. A worthwhile purchase for anybody with a sensitive set of scales.

Not a lot you can say about these, they are exactly what they say they are. I have doubled checked the weights and all are correct. Nice quality finish, look like they will last for years.

Recived this a while back along with digital scales. In the bag it came in, there were 2 small pieces detached from it, that can push into the bottom of it, wouldnt mind but either the weight is accurate with the bits In or with them out, no way to tell unless I get another 100g weight to compare . Emailed the seller, after 2 emails asking about those pieces didn't hear anything more, so still unsure if the small bits are meant to be in the weight or not. Otherwise, was quick delivery, and no other problems

In the picture it shows 2 decimal scale. This is not what I received. Also I was recommended to buy a 100g calibration weight when it requires 500g.

A weight is a weight.... yes. A perfectly weighted calibration weight is a necessity when using precision scales. I make cold pressed soap and need very very accurate measurements, so I need to make sure my scales stay perfectly calibrated. And it is nice to have a weight that looks smooth and chic at the same tme

envoi rapide et soigné! Ce poids m'a permis de re-étalonner ma balance de précision 0,01g sans aucun soucis !! Le poids est fourni avec son étui et ce dernier le protège correctement! Mais le boitier s'ouvre en 2 trop facilement et si vous le mettez dans un sac, on retrouve par la suite tous les éléments en vrac.... Le fait de devoir ajouter un scotch pour maintenir ensemble, les 2 parties du boitier, est la seule ombre au tableau....

Perfect little weight! Good to have if you always plan on owning a scale. I used to use 100 gram chocolate bars to calibrate. This is much better. Also love the chrome finish.

Every once in awhile, my digital scale seems to be a little off. When you weigh out very similar things day in and day out, you get to kind of memorize what something weighs by eyeballing it. You'll get a hunch that wht you're weighing isn't accurate on your scale due to constant travel with scal in hand. Well this little guy has proven my hunches to be right 100% of the time. As soon as I think something isn't weighing properly, I toss this bad boy on and press a couple buttons and voila! I was right! that gram was over! This thing has saved me hundreds of dollars if you think about it that way. AND it comes in a sweet protective case although it is just a solid piece of metal. It doesn't need much protecting. Maybe the case is to protect other goods it may come in contact with? Regardless, it's a nice little addition.
