I’ll be honest, I went into this a bit sceptical. Outdoor cleaners usually promise a lot and then quietly disappoint, so I deliberately waited quite a while before writing this to see what actually happened over time. The difference is obvious. The before and after is night and day. Black mould, algae and general grime that had been clinging on for ages has genuinely cleared away without any scrubbing. It looks cleaner, brighter and just healthier overall, especially on areas that never fully dried out before. In terms of use, the first application I did with a jet wash because it felt quicker and easier for covering a larger area. That worked perfectly and made light work of the initial clean. Since then I have reapplied it every few months using a standard pump sprayer and that has been just as straightforward. Ease of use is a big plus here, fill it, apply it, walk away. No effort, no fuss. The functionality is exactly what it claims. You apply it and let it do its thing over time. There is no instant blast like bleach, but that is kind of the point. It keeps working long after you have finished applying it. Durability is excellent because the results last, not just a quick cosmetic clean that comes back after the next bit of rain. Quality feels spot on and the capacity goes a long way, especially when diluted properly. Power wise it is clearly strong enough to deal with stubborn growth without damaging surfaces. Value for money is very good considering how effective it is and how little effort is involved. One bottle has covered far more area than I expected. I honestly cannot fault it. No weird residue, no strong lingering smell, no damage to surrounding areas. It just quietly works. That whole too good to be true saying does not really apply here. This one actually delivers.

Small amount for the price but dilutes down so not bad value. Does not smell chemical and the bottle was well packaged on arrival, easy to apply with a spray bottle and no leaks. Seemingly takes a while for removal but our green algae on the wooden fence slats went almost instantly. It looks really good now. Was worried about the effect on nearby grass but this seems less damaging than other chemicals we have used in the past. The slats now look much better. Really effective and hopefully long lasting. This should avoid us having paint the fence this year. I did most of our fence and also a decent amount of decking boards, spindles and siding with the smaller bottle. A big bottle would easily do a whole garden.

So easy to use & with such minimal effort the algae on my fence has gone! Over the years I have used so many different products all promising the same thing, & none delivering so was sceptical about this even though the reviews were generally good. It was good on my patio, but it was amazing on my fence! Used a spray pump canister & just one layer of spray on the fence panels has removed all the algae. Amazed! Highly recommend!

I’ve tried the rest but this really is the best. You definitely get what you pay for most of the time, and in this case it’s certainly true of patio cleaners. Wet and Forget is a product that my daughter swore by when she lived in New Zealand, but it wasn’t then available here in the U.K. I am so pleased that we can now buy it as it’s incredibly good for getting rid of a build up of muck and moss on patios and paths etc. It’s strong and efficient and it removes dirt and grime in a couple of days. Sometimes you may need another application if it’s really grim. I use a watering can, but a spray pump is also great for applying Wet and Forget. Just dilute it down on a 1 part W&F to 5 parts water and away you go. It’s not the cheapest one on the market, but I do honestly believe it’s the best one, as it actually works. It arrived well packed and no leakages en route.

Have used this product for years, every time after jet washing the patio. Long-lasting effects keeping away the green algae. Works on steps and walls too.

Before buying, I read the 5-star and 1-star reviews and I've concluded the 5-star reviews came from those tackling light patches of moss, whilst the 1=star reviews were too hasty and didn't give the liquid 2 days to kick in. I've used a whole bottle on a badly weeded and moss-covered, resin driveway, over two days, and it's been brilliant. It's turned all the green orange and made the unwanted growth easy to brush away... The reason I am writing this is because the bottle gives loads of safety advice on protecting hands and eyes but nothing on inhalation. WEAR A MASK, I've developed a sore throat, dizziness and wheezing. Wind will carry the nozzle's spray up and lightly. Even if it doesn't work thoroughly (it doesn't) it's a damn sight cheaper than paying professionals when the problem will return in 12-24 months regardless.

Got fed up with power washing the patio every year and then having to replace the cement between many of the slabs. So looked for an alternative and for several years I've used Wet & Forget. It's easy to use and doesn't damage the patio. Sometimes it takes a couple of applications but it is very effective.

I was very sceptical about this product doing what it said. However, a few articles mentioned it when I was searching for how to clean my patio without power washing (sadly I have no external tap) so I decided to give it a go. It did take several months to really 'clean' but the result is amazing and the patio/path has kept on looking great for months after. There's no instant gratification as with power washing, and working out how to sprinkle it over the flags is a bit tricky but it does do what it says.

This product is the best on the market and worth the cost. My fences have looked great for years with a treatment every 5 to 7 years or so. Plus unlike high pressure cleaning, it doesn't remove the pine wood treatment meaning it is clean but not exposed to termite damage.

This was sprayed onto a heavy lichen infestation and had started working by the next day with some lichen falling off. Very happy with these results

Once you are able to work out the mixing ratio volume, spray the product in accordance with the instructions and it works very well. Well worth the cost.
