The heater seems to work fine. The one it replaced was a little quieter and you didn't see the glowing heating element on the bottom, this one is very visible. The only problem was that I picked this unit because it pictured an adjustable thermostat. Instead they sent one that has just high and low switches, but it's to much trouble for me to send back. I just want to warn others they might get different controls than described.
