I have now got Schwalbe Marathon Plus puncture resistant tyres on my three bikes. Road cyclocross and MTB. I have not had a puncture in years. I cycle 22 miles every day to work on canal gravel and woodland paths. Not had an issue with these tyres. When I used the slime products I had an expectation that they would work but after the last time I used them and they did not work . When I was stuck 5 miles from home at 4 in the morning resulting in a long walk, I decided to bin the lot and buy some decent tyres. We find these are probably the best quality of this type of tube having tried several different types. We don’t find it stops punctures, & the never actually stop the tire deflating, probably you need to be going much faster to throw the green slime to where it’s needed quicker??
