(For the benefit of whoever may read this review, I have 2a/2b hair) I have recently made the conscious decision to take really good care of my hair, and this purchase was one of my first steps towards that. It is well worth the money. From the moment the package arrived I knew this was a high quality product as the packaging itself had a luxurious appearance. As for the hair wrap, the silk is incredibly soft, and the colour I chose (pink) is beautiful. I was worried it would be difficult to put it on but it’s not that bad, a little awkward when you’re getting used to it. I have heard other people complain about silk head wraps falling off their head during the night; I can’t speak for how actively those people sleep and maybe I am a particularly calm sleeper, but that hasn’t happened to me once. Finally, the effect on my hair has been massive! Before this purchase I used to use a silk scrunchie in a high ponytail or bun to bed, and I would wake up to my hair in a total mess, with only about 30% of my hair remaining in the scrunchie and a lot of tangles. Now, I brush my hair before I put on the silk cap and when I take it off in the morning, my hair is like I had just brushed it. It’s been a game changer for my hair.

I was a bit dubious when ordering this as you read reviews about how great items are and that they work etc etc BUT ....Do they really work? Well, I must say this does. I loved the packaging and box it came in and was impressed by that. That night I put my little bonnet/cap on wondering if I would wake up with smooth, shiny hair OR just like I normally wake up? I was also concerned whether it would make me feel really hot/warm and make me sweat etc (as they say you lose heat from your head which is why when it is cold it is great to wear a hat Lol) Even tho it stipulated that it regulates your body temperature I was still unsure. Anyway I put the item on and laughed (in a good way) as it looked quite good on. I felt a little like a victorian girl Lol. The fit was great and it felt really comfy on. I went to bed. I woke up in the morning and I wasn't dripping in sweat and it didn't disturb my sleep and had stayed on Lol. I took the item off and WOW my hair looked good. It wasn't extra extra shiny BUT it was smoother and had a nice sheen (not greasy) and I was impressed. The more I have worn in the better my hair has got. I have wavy/curly hair and of course get the flyaways and dry bits on my hair which I normally use a serum on. Now there are hardly any flyaways, my hair is shinier and looks better. I must admit I am very impressed and have told other people about this item. It was a great buy.

I have brought so many so called silk bonnets and they are all no good. They are too hot and fall off. This bonnet was pricey but it works. It fits well and is cool on a hot summer night. They tyes work well. My hair is beautiful in the morning. No knots in my curly hair. This bonnet is 100% silk.

I found the cap expensive however the product is genuine 100% silk and I have had the desired results by using it. I have thick 2B wavy hair of Indian & Greek origin, i find that the silk cap is very effective in making my hair smooth, soft, frizz free with a silky feel. My hair has less volume than i'm used to so I pin up my hair in sections with light twists at the top of my head whilst i sleep to help keep a bit of bounce and volume. I think this in conjunction with regular oil hair treatments and a good shampoo, conditioner routine and maybe minimal product use of a serum or a styling creme/mousse should give you the desired results. As a busy mum i just wanted a frizz free head of hair in the morning to get up and go without needing to style and fix my hair much and it has given me that exactly.I am very impressed with the results. Sizing fits my hair and has room for more, might be small for someone with mid back length big afro carribbevn hair but it depends on how you put your hair in the cap. Sorry for weird photo but i'm shy but at same time I just thought it might help gage my results for my hair type better to help you justify the expensive purchase! I bought this product to protect my hair while sleeping. I have chin-length curly hair and I was hoping it would protect my curls enough that I would be able to wash them less often. The sleep cap hasn't fallen completely off my head while I've used it, but it slips around my head enough that I've woken up with it back-to-front. It also doesn't protect my curls as much as I would like, though it doesn't make them frizzy. Also, because it ties at the back, the hair at the back of my head occasionally slips out of the sleeping cap. The cap itself is soft and fits all my hair, and doesn't feel uncomfortable or hot. But it doesn't quite do the job for me.

I wanted a silk hair wrap to sleep in to prevent frizz overnight, I had seen the Silke London hair wraps but wasn’t prepared to spent £50 on one, when I saw this I thought that it was worth a try at such a reasonable price. It comes in a nice box which didn’t really impact my experience at all but would be good if this was a gift. The actual bonnet is what I would describe as characteristically “silk” on the outside but then on the inside it is just the other side of the material and is not as soft and luxurious as the silkier side. Because of this I just turned the bonnet inside out. The bonnet is quite large which is good in a way because I have almost waist length hair but unfortunately the ties to tighten around your head don’t work very well. The elastic next to the two ties is too baggy and even when tying the bonnet very tight, the elastic made the material too baggy and hair slipped out of the bottom. I have been unable to tie the bonnet tightly enough to keep all my hair in overnight and have had a few nights were it has come off in my sleep. To be honest, as a cheap option for a silk hair wrap for sleeping, it was a waste of money but if you wriggle less than me, or magically find a way to tie it properly, or even don’t use it for sleep; you may have a better experience than me.

Var skeptisk mot att den skulle sitta kvar då jag sover väldigt oroligt men förvånad över att den nu efter en veckas användning suttit kvar varje morgon jag vaknat. Mitt hår (långt hår vågigt) är mkt mer lätthanterligt nu och jag vaknar utan tovor. Skönt att sova med håret på plats och inte överallt. Sovmössan är lätt och känns bekväm
