Unlike a certain British Prime Minister, this product is made to last. I noted others' experience before purchase, but I am happy to say that my food warmer is well-finished, sturdy and balanced. I use it for my 8-cup cafetiere, sitting on top of a metal sandwich tray so that the hear is diffused and not concentrated on one spot of the glass jug. It keeps a full cafetiere piping hot and does the job that I bought it for me. So five stars from me!

It's a very good idea. I served my food on pyrex dish and places it on this stand and it did keep it nice warm/hot. However, it isn't the finest quality but well worth the price.it does come with a candle

Sturdy and simply designed. Pleased with it.

This product is thicker gauge wire than my previous food warmer and therefore much more sturdy. The chrome appears to be of good thickness as well. One further positive point for me is that the candle holder sits in a central ring keeping the heat in the middle of the food container. A reasonable price for a well made product. Very happy with my purchase.

Looked great on the table (even before dish was sat down on them) and did the trick of keeping the dish warm. My main advice is to make sure you keep stirring however, as it's not diffused heat. And the first time I used these was for chocolate fondue and at the end of the night I saw a small circle of burnt chocolate at the bottom of each bowl. Luckily, it didn't ruin the bowls, but still, lesson learned.
