Hi do the colours when used fade in strong day light ?

No, they do not fade. I have used for a two months and my paintings still bright and with a nice colour. I think, the paper that we use is very important for watercolour and it can make all the difference. This watercolour is good, but we need to choose a good paper for a good result.

These paints are much cheaper than other craft sites. Can you guarantee they are genuine kuretake?

I think it is genuine. It comes from a shop in Japan. I did not see anything that I could think different.

It depends, if you like very beautiful light washes, then they are perfect. If you need colours which give you a wide range of contrast between light and dark, Holbein Watercolours would be much better ... These have their own beauty, why not give them a go and see how you get on with them ...
