nice little game

This is a great little game. So far I have only played it two player, bit I imagine it can only improve with more players.The games are pretty quick at about 20 minutes to half an hour tops. Games seem balanced, with multiple paths to victory once you have learned the ropes.The artwork is gorgeous and the coloured dice have a nice marbling effect to them.An extremely re-playable game with some nice random element so keep it interesting.Some slight negatives: (I'm clutching at straws though, this is a solid 5 star game.)The box is stupidly large, the cards and tokens pack down into a nice small travel game otherwise. I packed mine in some zip lock bags.The cards are a bit thin for my liking, they aren't quite as thick as a regular playing card.Aside from that the game is perfect.

I bought Unearth solely on the strength of Jesse Riggle’s lovely Monument Valley-ish isometric art and I’m really pleased to say that this really isn’t a case of style over substance.The game mechanic is relatively simple to master (players roll die to collect ruins cards and stones tokens, sets of which award points or allow players to build monuments) but the randomised distribution of cards during setup and the various methods of accruing points mean that play can be quite tactical and markedly different from game to game. This has been a real hit with everyone I’ve played with and I strongly recommend it.

My family and friends have played this game many times over the last year or so. Everyone has enjoyed it. It's a pretty quick game, a filler game if you like. The art work is beautiful could be considered a game of luck more than skill but still enjoyable. Only down side is that it's only 4 player.

A really interesting game with beautiful artwork and really simple to learn. Would recommend it to all.

It’s such a simple game but with so much depth to its strategy. Good fun, great design. Seems to be a hit with everybody who plays it. Get it.
