GREAT GIFTS!!! GREAT BOOKS!
I found these when our 1st grandchild was born 13 years ago! I've since purchased these for every other grandchild, plus for every baby gift or shower! Babies, children CANNOT DESTROY THESE!! Babies can chew on them, they can be washed, they endure through everything! The illustrations are vibrant, clear, and attention-grabbing for infants and still please toddlers. They satisfy and stimulate sensory needs in all children and promote a freedom in touching, tasting, as they read! (which IS appropriate for infants & babies with books!)

Truly baby proof
OK, these Tyvek books are awesome! As you know, babies don't want to read books and they don't even care a whole lot about the pictures. What they want to do is open it up and start chewing on it. This destroys normal books in under a minute and will eventually destroy board books, although it takes a bit more time for all that baby slobber to soak in. These books, however, can be slobbered on all you want. The can be pulled and won't rip. They can be chewed on forever (with gums... not sure how it would stand up to teeth) and in the end you have a book that looks a bit beat up, but is otherwise not damaged. I also like that you can stick it in the dishwasher if it needs to be cleaned for whatever reason. Finally, unlike a board book, it is light enough that baby can easily handle it without any trouble.Recommended to anyone with babies under 1. This book will still be in good enough shape to entertain you great grandchildren, provided nobody takes a pair of scissors to it or throws it away.

Truly indestructible!
We have this and three other titles. Our son is now one year old, and has had these since he was seven months old. He loves them! He loves looking at the pictures, and though it is thankfully less and less, he still likes putting them in his mouth. He has crumpled them, drooled on them, chewed them, and probably tried to rip them to pieces, but so far there are no tears at all. They are a bit wrinkled after so much abuse, but that is not an issue for us. There are no words, so you can make up your own stories, or just name the animals - each page has enough detail other than the focus animal that it is easy to come up with stories. The pictures are beautiful too - not cheap looking at all.

Wonderfully Industructible!
I got one of these as a baby shower gift and had to buy one for two other friends' baby showers. These books truly are indestructible. My little guy loves the illustrations with the vivid colors. Being a former teacher, I love that these are wordless books for young children, but can also be used for older children to spark a conversation about meta cognition while reading. I also love that my little guy can put these in his mouth, spill things on them, and try to tear them and they are still in tact.

Truly lives up to its name!
I love indestrucatble books! They're great for younger babies! They can chew on them, drool on them, try to tear them, scrunch them up, you name it and still the book stays whole and doesn't tear or get wet and fall apart. It truly fits its name. Be careful, alot of these books dont have words, some do, but not all. So some of them aren't great for actual reading books, but those ones we just flip through the picture and make up our own story or describe the pictures. Still, great for the littles ones. Highly recommend.

Love these books!
This is seriously the best thing ever. Finally a book my kid can't eat and is free to try her hardest to destroy. She loves looking at the colorful pictures and I name each of the bugs for her. I told a family member how much she loves the book, so she bought her 3 different titles for her 1st birthday and now we keep one in the diaper bag, one in the car, and two at home. I wish I had known about this before she ate through her entire collection of books.

Great for parent-child interactions!
We purchased several of these for our nephew because he has a penchant for books but was still pretty destructive with them. His parents were a bit surprised that there were no words in the books. When we explained that you were supposed to make up your own story or just talk to your child about the pictures, they seemed hesitant but thought it would be a good idea. So far the books are holding up well. Great way to really get the young ones interested in books without them eating it.

6 month olds love it!
My six month old twin daughters L.O.V.E. these books! As other reviewers have said, there are no words and the books are only a few pages, but oh what fun for babies! My girls (one with teeth and one without) love to gnaw on the pages and coat them with drool. These books stand up to everything my kids throw at them (even ripping them from each others' hands; although they don't actually rip). The texture of the "paper" reminds me of post office mail bags, but it's more durable. Also, the books wrinkle due to the drool and grabbing, but they maintain their shape very well.

Indestructible.
These attractive, colourful books are surviving my 6-month-old grandson's determined efforts to tear holes in them. Which is all you can ask at that age.

True to its name
My 2 year old Hulk loves books but he is also hell-bent on destroying them. He is unable to destroy this book despite his best efforts. He has managed to put some bite marks and slight wrinkles but the book remains intact. I am pleasantly surprised as the book seems rather flimsy but boy is it durable! True to its name. As others have mentioned there are no words but my bug-obsessed kids are happy to look at the cool illustrations.

Super!!!
