These are excellent! The cards are numbered in order of difficulty and the set includes a VERY generous number of shapes to use to fill them in. Creative scenes and colors inspire kids to keep playing with these. Very fun to do with younger preschoolers and will grow into lower elementary ages.My child absolutely adores this game and will happily sit for hours completing cards and talking about the shapes she is using. Also promotes learning fractions via exploration as well! Fantastic little set and a great value! Shapes are easy to store in a ziplock but would be even better if it came with a storage bag.

Fun math activity to use shapes to make pictures. Bought as fun activity during our homeschool math time. My kindergartener likes to use the provided cards to make pictures along with creating his own.

The minute I saw this I knew my daughter would love it. We just got this today and she immediately started matching all the shapes with the pictures. The idea is great because what kid doesn’t love bugs. I love that the pictures are colorful and fun scenarios and additionally comes with lots of shape pieces. However I do agree with other reviewers that the quality of the shapes is very poor. Some even arrived scratched from just colliding with each other in the very small bag they were placed in. Also i am annoyed at the made in China letters in all the pieces. But the idea is great and worth getting it. Still learning resources please make better quality pieces for this toy. I had previously purchased a set of shapes from this brand and they are of great quality I am just not sure how the shapes for this particular set are so poorly made. The cards are thin but I laminate everything so it doesn’t bother me at all.

This is an awesome set for children (and adults!) to work on. The illustrations are fun and there are plenty of pieces to complete the set.

One of my favorite things to teach in kindergarten is shapes. There are so many different things you can do with shapes. MyIMG_0404 students love to learn the shapes as well. I was very excited to receive the Shapes Don’t Bug Me Geometry Activity Set from Learning Resources for review.My students LOVED this activity set. It was in my small group centers for a couple of weeks. They kept asking for it. There were a lot of things that they liked about it. They loved that they were like puzzles, especially since the mats are the shapes of bugs. The boys especially loved this fact. My students loved how brightly colored the shapes were and that there were many different shapes to play with.As a teacher, there were many things I liked about the Shapes Don’t Bug Me Geometry Activity Set. I loved the variety of shapes that are included. I really like that the shapes are transparent. This way the students can easily see if they have placed the shape correctly.I really loved the variety of activities on the cards. Some of the activities on the cards are placing the shape where it goes, combining shapes to make other shapes, and sorting the shapes by similar and different attributes. These are things tShapes Don't Bug Me Collagehat students are required to learn in the kindergarten core curriculum. I love that these activities applied directly to what my students are learning in class.Most of all, I loved that my students loved to play with them. I loved that the students were having fun but were learning as well!This activity set would be great to have at home. It teaches important shape concepts and the kids will love playing with it! What makes this set fun is kids have to be creative with the pieces to make the shapes. For example, your child will have to put two shapes together to make one shape. This has been making my daughter think about how shapes fit together to make different shapes. For my older boys I am using this to show them geometry, which they haven't learned yet, and fractions. The set is even aligned with Common Core State Standards! By featuring 2-D shapes and forming new objects, kids are learning geometry in Common Core.The set comes with a ton of shape pieces and 20 cards. The cards are actually numbered, which works its way from easy to hard. I am teaching my kids about the colors, shapes, forming new shapes and problem solving, from this one set! I'd recommend this set to any parent looking for a fun challenge for their kids. It really does teach a lot in a fun way.

A mi sobrina le encanto, las tarjetas son grandes ideales para los niños, el material de las tarjetas es de carton en mi opinion deberian de venir tipo plastificadas o mas gruesas para que duren (todo depende del cuidado), las piezas sob de colores brillantes y de plastico translucido. Puedes ocuparlo para diversas actividades con los pequeños (enseñarles formas, tamaños, colores, fracciones, etc) Excelente material.

Great for preschoolers!

Perfecto juego de geometría. Dice a partir de 5 años. Mi niña lo utiliza desde los 2, porque al principio únicamente colocaba las piezas q coincidían perfectamente con el dibujo. Ahora ya empieza a hacer combinaciones simples de 2 formas iguales para crear otra q es la q está en el dibujo.Único "pero": las piezas son plástico y las fichas papel, con lo que se requiere destreza para ponerlas en su sitio y que no se muevan a medida que vas añadiendo piezas.Es un reto añadido pero si no se ayuda al niño al principio es frustrante porque lo q han hecho se les mueves y se les cae a la mínima

箱は潰れていたけどAmazonだからそんなもん！ということで問題なし。タングラムとしては問題なく使用できます。透明なので水あそびや光あそびにも活用しています。子ども用に購入しましたが大人がハマるやつですので、開封する際は時間に余裕がある時がオススメです～

My son enjoys this little activity! I wish it had come with a piece of paper with the names of the shapes on it for better learning!!
