Review: Great product and bargain price - Great product and bargain price. I used this tape to patch some holes in the plaster walls inside my airing cupboard. It stuck fine to the painted plaster - I wasn’t sure how well it was going to stick as it was intended for plasterboard and also some people saying it wasn’t very sticky but there were no issues at all. I applied several strips across the holes, at different angles to make a finer mesh then put polyfilla over the top, a coat of paint and job done! For the larger holes I probably should have used something a bit more rigid but as it’s inside a cupboard it’s fine for my needs. Great to have 20m for multiple projects too.

**Q: Do I use filler on the ceiling before apply the mesh tape?**
A: In my experience, yes. Otherwise it is not possible to keep the tape in place. Some tapes are self adhesive which would be easier to use. Good luck.

**Q: My curtain rail came off the wall leaving a chunk missing. Would this help to repaor if i cover the hole and then use filler?**
A: Yes, definitely. I repaired a hole where a halogen light had been on the ceiling with this, excellent stuff when used with a high quality filler.

**Q: Will this work on upvc? i have cracks in my windows. thanks**
A: I don’t know, I used it for depicting buildings in my watercolour painting! It sticks quite well but don’t think it will do your windows as plastic on upvc plastic may be too slippery for bonding permanence. Perhaps ask a builder instead,,,,good luck with it 👍

Great product and bargain price. I used this tape to patch some holes in the plaster walls inside my airing cupboard. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made a cracked ceiling look near perfect again

Bought as part of our bedroom refurbishment project and used mainly to tape around the edges of a repaired hole (past leak) but then used also to address some annoying cracks elsewhere. It's simple to cut and apply although adhesion isn't always great on the new plaster arounds the hole repair. Worked fine on the old plaster where we were just covering cracks. Even before painting the product is barely noticeable and once skimmed and painted you wouldn't know it was there at all. Will definitely use again.
