I have just received and used these for the first time. I have super thick, curly, frizzy, unruly hair and alot of it. My first impression is that they look stunning and would quite happily have them out on display. They look expensive and really high quality not cheap plastic at all. The pouch that it comes with is super cute but could do with being just slightly bigger as it can be a squeeze to get the cable and plug in. But it's great for travel. They have a decent length cable which is good if your sockets are in a hard to reach place or located away from your mirror. They are super easy to use and turn on and the buttons feel sturdy and good quality and in a location where you don't have to worry about knocking them when you are using them. They have a good clear easy to read display. They don't beep when they are at temperature but it's easy to tell from the display. They heat up pretty quickly and the temperature stays consistent after they reach your desired temperature. There are several temperatures to choose from so you can get the one that's right for you. I found their recommended temperature of 180° worked well for me even with my super thick hair. They are comfortable to hold and glide through the hair. Didn't snag at all. They straightened my hair pretty easily even on the first pass. I had to use no more than 2 passes on each strand and they coped well with large sections of hair at a time. They left my hair feeling smooth and shiny and not dry looking at all. I can't comment on how long the straighteness lasts in my hair as I've only just used them. So far I am impressed with these straighteners and would definately compare them to ghds, however i think I actually prefer these and they are a fraction of the price. Well worth a try. Will update if my opinion changes or I have any problems but so far so good. One problem though was the packaging which wasn't a problem for me as they were purchased for myself, but if you are buying as a gift for someone that you live with, they arrived in clear plastic packaging making the item inside clearly visible. Something to keep in mind in case the person you are buying them for receives the delivery.

Fantastic straightener 👍🏽 i have a golden curl straightener but it is not good i prefer the remington pro luxe as 2 pass the hair is straight ans shiny 😉

These were a purchase for my daughter. They are amazing, highly recommend. They come with a 6 year guarantee, which makes you feel confident that you are buying something that is going to last. The heat up really quickly, only have to use 180degree heat, as they work so well and leave her hair very shiny and nice condition. Would highly recommend, as great price, can use lower heat and leave hair shiny

I bought these as opposed to GHDs due to their lack of temperature control. These straighteners work perfectly for me at 150 degrees which means less damage to my hair. Temperature controls easy to use and straighteners look really good. Hair is left really smooth and shiny. Only issue is that the plates don't meet fully at the base end. I don't find this causes an issue with straightening, but it makes it difficult to curl my hair as the hair doesn't always stay locked in the plates whilst turning them. Might be okay with thicker hair, but not on thin hair.

Really happy with these. I lost my old Remington straightener which lasted for years and these are even better if that’s possible. Recommend these over more expensive brands like GHD. My hair glides through effortlessly - I also use these to wave my hair and it does an amazing job of it. A really wide range of temperature settings for all hair types and styles.

I wanted a heat controlled set of straighteners but as I am not a professional hairdresser I felt that splashing out £200 was a bit excessive. These are sleek, they heat up very quickly and work fast on my very thick hair. I am delighted with them and so glad I bought them. I will spend the other £150 I saved on something more meaningful.

Having been a GHD user for many years, I was a bit one eyed about other straighteners being as good. But I used a remington at my gym and realised GHD may not be where it's at any more. These straighteners heat up fast, give good even heat and leave my hair with a nice finish. I have very think hair so I like that they're a little wider, I can fit more hair in each time and that makes the whole job much quicker. I also used these to achieve waves but because of the extra width, kinking can be a problem. It might just be me having to get used to them. At first I was a bit concerned that they don't beep when they're hot but I got used to the silence quite quickly (it seems everything beeps these days so it's nice to have a silent appliance for once). Honestly for the price I'm recommend you give them a go.

My second pair and I prefer these over ghd I wouldn't change my straighteners to any others

Very good straightener. It gives very smooth slide in one pass and good temperature control. Light weight. If you have crazy frizzy hair I recommend using serum
