I bought this for my 16 month old grandson, he loved playing and repeating all the sounds ,, I did too

My baby loves this and so do i. It's very well made and sturdy. A simple story with lovely bright colours and great animal noises.

Given as gift. Recipient enjoyed it.

A simply great book, big and bright, beautifully illustrated with an introduction of one animal on each new page - the buttons next to the pages reproduce the sounds that the animal makes, quite realistic but I would still prefer original animal sounds because I noticed that each language reproduces animal sounds quite differently (e.g. those sounds in English are different from sounds in French and Russian) so it can be a bit confusing for the baby. I gave this book 4 stars for that and two more reasons: 1. the buttons are not so easy to press - my 14-month old still has difficulty pressing them except for the last button imitating all the animal voices at once. 2. Beautiful and attractive as the book is, my baby is not as attracted to it as to her old and simple board books, especially the "Good night, moon" which remains her absolute favorite since, I would say, birth.

I bought this for my grandaughter when she was about 10 months.Now at 2 years old, It is still the first book she pulls out when she visits. The book is made up of a series of hardbacked pages with very vivid farm pictures, loaded with detail. All the animals wake up and making their animal noises, wake each other in turn. Kayleigh is strong enough to press the noise buttons herself. She loves looking for the details, e.g. "Can you see the little spider on each page? Where is he hiding now?" Where is the snail, and what is the pig eating?" So much conversation can be brought about by the pictures alone that it makes this book invaluable for language development, sequencing (who wakes next?),learning about animals, farms, size (small spider, big horse),colours, sounds, what the animals eat. Its just a great teaching tool and an enjoyable book. Batteries still as strong as ever! We also have" In the Jungle" book

This is a fantastic, educational book to introduce your little one to animals on the farm. The book is brightly illustrated and the board pages are very tough meaning they will withstand rough handling/drooling/sticky fingers. It reads; It's early in the morning on the farm. The noisy cockerel says ... Cock-a-doodle-doo ... and wakes up the sheep. Baaaa, Baaaa The noisy sheep wakes up the horse. The horse says ... Neeeighhhh ... and wakes up the cow. Mooooo The noisy cow wakes up the donkey. The donkey says ... Eeee-or ... and wakes up the pig. Oink Oink The noisy pig wakes up the dog. The dog says ... Woof, Woof ... and wakes up the cat. Meeeeeow All the noisy animals have woken up the farmer, and he shouts ... "What a noisy farm!" Each page has a picture of the animal who is woken up detailed on a thick tab, meaning it is very easy to navigate to a specific page. I find this fantastic for asking my son to find a animal visually. The 9 'buttons' on the side of the book are quite sensitive and my son can press them easily. The sounds themselves are very realistic, my son will happily sit and press the buttons and repeat the sound. The story is simple to follow but very engaging. It is a firm favourite in our house, I would highly recommend. I hope this review was helpful.

My 18 month old adores this book. He is fond of animals, as most kids are, and has learnt the sounds they make by pressing the corresponding buttons as we read the story. Fun + learning rolled into one. The illustrations are very attractive and that adds to the appeal.

Great gift for one year old grandson!

This book is great. Sounds are very clear not metalic or mechanical sounding. Not too loud. Pics are good. Excellent value. Our little grand daughter really enjoys it.

Es handelt sich um ein lustiges Buch. Die Tiere auf dem Hof wachen auf und wecken sich gegenseitig durch Muhen, Bellen, etc. Dazu kann das passende Tiergeräusch angehört werden. Die Laute sind relativ naturgetreu. Unser einjähriger Sohn liest das Buch gerne mit uns. Die Knöpfe kann er selber aber noch nicht passend drücken.

Les textes proposés ne sont pas d'une grande qualité. Rien à voir avec les livres d'Axel Scheffler qui a d'ailleurs fait une autre version de Noisy Farm, sans doute plus intéressante.
