MFH Russian Winter Cap Black with Badge

Hi, After the cold spell started I decided to upgrade my thinsulate hat. The thinsulate hat worked well but is nowhere nearly as good as this little beauty. I like the style and find that the ear flaps can be put fully down or the fully up position. The flaps are secured by tying the lace either under your chin or on top of the hat. This is what I expected. I have found a third position for the flaps. The can be put down and just by pulling the rear portion of the hat the lace stays behind the hat ,, This is my chosen position except on severly cold days. The hat is warm -Fairly weatherproof- Comfortable and very good value for money. The small badge, now removed as it is a ghastly little peice of staybright plastic, I.M.H.O., is the only thing I didn't like about this hat. The hat fitted as specified in the measuring chart.. A good buy and recommnded for winter use. The dispatch time was as stated. Thanks very much & I hope this short review is of use to others, BFJ

Hat appears and feels well made. Badge is much cheaper quality than the hat (not a big deal - wouldn't use it anyway). Smaller than the stated size (as two minutes of wear has given me a headache). I put it in a hat stretcher for 2 days - perfect comfortable fit.

Nice item. Promptly delivered in adequate packaging. Perfect fit, very comfortable and warm. Have worn it a number of times and have appreciated the ear muffs and the warmth of the flap that comes down with the muffs to protect one's neck. I would have preferred a snap button arrangement to secure the ear flaps as it is difficult tying the two rather short laces in a bow under one's chin. Apart from that minor gripe, I think this is an excellent product and would recommend it to anyone wanting cosy protection from wintry elements.

Delivered in good condition and promptly, although the delivery man waited all of 3 seconds at the door before deciding nobody was in, and then left it with a neighbour 4 doors down... The product itself, it's very warm (it'll be great for winter), although I'm not entirely sure I ordered the right size (I got XL/61cm, after measuring my head (or trying to) and seemed like the right choice) . It looks overly big with the ear flaps tied at the top, but maybe that's normal - I've not had one of these before, but on the other hand it does feel as though the next size down might make it a bit tight. I very much like the look and feel of it with the flaps down. It's comfortable too. The only other thing, and it's a minor gripe, the 'leaves' (I'm certain there's a proper name for them) on the badge are far more orange in colour than it looks in the picture. The badge as a whole looks good anyway though, but as for the feel, it feels cheaper than I imagined it to be (the badge, not the item as whole). Almost plastic-y. But like I said this a minor niggle. Summary: Looks good, comfortable, very warm, the badge is different to what I expected and feels slightly cheap ( so I knocked off a star), seems well made. So, yeah, I'd recommend it. Oh, and with the flaps down not only are your ears covered but also the back of your neck which is a nice plus. I look forward to wearing it this winter, but based on the summer we've had I may not have to wait until then.

Had some doubts about this due to the price but now it has arrived I am very pleased with it. The sizing is generous and the fit good. It appears to be of good quality and is definitely warm. The badge is so so but not enough to spoil the hat and there are plenty of badges around if that's important. On the whole a good buy.

Absolutely brilliant best winter dog walking hat I have ever had very comfortable and not itchy like wool. Put the sides and back down and nothing gets through. The only problem I had was tying a bow under my chin so I cut one of the tapes off one of hear flap and got the wife to sew a press-stud to the hear flap and remaining tape. But still a great hat.

Il prodotto è come descritto. Molto bello. Lo proverò questo inverno in quanto da la sensazione di essere moto caldo e quindi indossato in giornate fredde. Bello resistente per adesso lo consiglio. Aggiorno la recensione questo inverno. Aggiorno. Per l'inverno va benissimo. Caldo ed elegante. Indossato con un cappotto scuro crea un out fit molto elegante. Non si passa imosservati.
