Mikki Dog, Puppy Anti Pull Harness Halter -No More Pulling, Tugging or Choking -Fit all Lead -Medium ,Black

This anti-pull harness has been an absolute game changer for walks with my dog, Darcy. She’s a strong puller, and using this harness has made a noticeable difference almost immediately. I’d honestly say walking is around 90% better — far less pulling, much more control, and a calmer experience for both of us. It fits well, feels secure without being restrictive, and Darcy seems comfortable wearing it, which is a big win. It hasn’t turned her into a perfectly loose-lead walker overnight (no harness will), but it’s made walks far more enjoyable and manageable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone struggling with a dog that pulls on the lead

We bought this lead after reading reviews, but was still convinced it wouldn't work for a labrador, but due to the reasonable price it was worth a shot! We have a 12 year old labrador that we tried practically every kind of lead and harness with over the years and nothing stopped him pulling, except finally old age. When we got our recent puppy labrador we tried from the off to control her on the lead - maybe it's us, but the same started happening and walks became no pleasure at all which was upsetting and hard work. It was simply the reviews that held a small glimmer of hope and thank goodness we took the gamble! From Day 1 this worked - the transformation was instant and was also noticed by people in the park who had watched us struggle with her. So much so that at least 5 other dog walkers bought them for their own dogs with the same results. In fact, only 2 days ago a friend I'd recommended it to messaged me saying I'm a 'genius', as she was having the same trouble with her large Huntaway. I'm not the genius, but Mikki are for this fantastic harness! Incidentally, we bought the lead about 3 months ago, and a few weeks ago we dared to try walking her without the harness, whilst holding our breath. OMG she's not pulling anymore, apart from very occasionally when wanting to play with another dog or if she spots any food people have dropped, which is what I consider 'normal.' Incidentally, we also bought Mikki's Training Lead which was great for 2 dogs as an added bonus, and at the same time got the Clicker and Treat Bag. Now I know why people rave about the clicker method as they work great with greedy labradors :-D By the way, I don't work for Mikki, but I sure am a new convert to these great products of theirs! (Wish I'd been the inventor LOL).

It actually worked for my lively young Springer! I was surprised as she 'loves' to pull. It is a bit of a mission to get on though - both when she is excited for her walk and has ants in her pants, and when putting it on after her off lead walk when she is wet and muddy and I want to get her home/need to have her on the lead quick. But that's to be expected by the very nature of it. And carrying it around on your walk is somewhat annoying. When I had just a lead, I could put it in my pocket or hang it over my neck or round my waist etc. With this, I walk around with it in my hand folded into 3 as best I can as it wont go in my pocket along with her poo bags, whistle, my mobile phone for taking photos of her enjoying herself - I can pretend to myself I am going to collect my imaginary horse. I notice people have asked if it can be left on but just unclip the lead. I would say absolutely NOT because: If you have it on correctly, (i.e not to tight or loose), if the dog bends her legs (lies down, crawls under things) her legs can come out, because when she is not pulling, the straps are loose enough (rightly so of course). The second and most important reason not to leave it on is obvious and this shouldn't even be considered: it is potentially dangerous to leave loose straps/loops on a dog, simple as that. You cant have it all ways! So that being said, I still like it! She seems comfortable and stays to heel without pulling - although with a really tempting target she does lunge forward but retracts when she feels the tug under her arms....but then starts pulling again; however this is much better than a dog pulling with only a collar, where they completely lose their minds and chose to choke themselves rather than just arrive at that point 1 second later! It's worth carrying around and it's worth the hassle of putting on and off. I'm getting better at it.

Love this!! My dog pulled like a train. Tried everything, prong, choke, halti, figure 8, stop start training, trainer, you name it. He is young but huge. The first time I used this I took his halti with me in my pocket just in case. Didn't need it. He walked beautifully and still does. I love walking him now. A bit fiddly to begin with, especially as he has a lot of fur around his neck and he has to try and watch what I'm doing to him. The foam covering that protects under his arms is a bit thin and can move up and down the cord. Might try pipe insulation foam full length of the cord so it can't slide. I don't know how this works, but does it matter, it works!! He's happy, I'm happy, job done!!

We have a 3 year old Pom/Husky cross we adopted 3 months ago as a rescue( i know very strange combo, but very cute), she is pretty good inside the house but very hyper and a bit nervous about anything outside. We don't think she had been walked much as she was terrible on a lead and the noise of the traffic would have her bucking and twisting out of her collar. Took her to training and she was much improved but would still pull like mad, even though she is only 6kg the Husky part means she can pull hard and walking her was no fun at all. She is also very excitable around other dogs and stopping her was hard work. Had tried other methods which made no difference, she would make herself gag with the pulling. First time I put this on she stopped still and stared at me. I could not believe it worked so well. I call it my Magic lead. Now she walks beside me and if she goes in front I stop and she stops Amazing. She still gets excited with other dogs but now I can control her much better. I would highly recommend this harness. We bought the Small as it was the smallest availble but the collar only just fits her as it is a bit big, would be good if they did it in X-Small as well. Have now had this harness a few weeks and no longer use it, it does all that I said above but now she has developed a severe dislike of it, She is normally a very happy dog and eager to go out but when I put it on her ears go down and she tries to bite it, also she shakes herself often and will not walk without me pulling her. I have checked and it is not rubbing her (she has a very thick coat ) so it is not that. I have now switched to a front control harness which she doesn't seem to mind, but it is early days yet.

So, how could this flimsy lightweight cord and toggle affair possibly control my lunging Staffordshire bull terrier? Not difficult to fit, we set off on our evening walk ( in the dark, so as to avoid other people/dogs, as is our custom - the irony is we then tend to meet only other poor souls who have a similair issue!) By the time I had crossed my patio and opened the garden gate, I noticed something different. A few half hearted pulls from doggie later I was grinning from ear to ear, and mouthing OMG!!! at my husband. We walked for 25 minutes with a totally different animal - compliant and relaxed beside us, despite my fizzing with hope and relief ( sooooo embarrassing have our walks been for the past 4 years) One interaction with other people was noticeably easier - our dog sat down and waited for them to pass. Good grief! This is only the first use, but I was so stunned I had to come and share. Will update in a while to see if this continues. The there was no chafing from the cord that goes under the legs, but I did make sure that the protective fleece sleeves were in the right position. Could imagine that if they slipped on a long walk it might aggravate after a while. This may well be the best £8 I have ever spent. Fingers crossed! Update: after a couple of weeks use this has proved very successful. No pulling, and even on the old lead the odd couple of times without the Mikki harness, he has been better behaved. One slight disadvantage is there is no control over him from the front, so pulling him away from sniffing trees is tricky, but this is only a minor issue and would still urge anybody considering to buy one!! Walks are now relxing and enjoyable- result!!

Have been using this item for a couple of months with no issues. However when out with my dog today, she pulled forward and it snapped. Thankfully we had booked a field and were in the Laneway to it when it happened so she just ran ahead to the gate but could have been a very different story if we had been on a normal walk close to roads etc. very dangerous

This harness has absolutely transformed walking my crazy cockapoo who turns into a sledge pulling husky when out for a walk. We have tried hard to sort out the pulling but she could not be tamed until we tried this harness and it is a miracle cure! I don't have to correct her at all, she walks a little way ahead but stops as soon as there is any tension in the lead as this then seems to give her a little squeeze under her legs. She doesn't seem unduly bothered by the harness and is still happy to put it on after several uses now so this has reassured me it isn't causing her any discomfort and I have been carefully checking after use to make sure it isn't making her red or sore around the tops of her legs and no sign of any irritation so far including after a full day out with the family where she was in the harness for about 4 hours. I find it very easy to put on and off, takes a couple of goes to get the hang of it but it's super easy once you do. Takes a bit of getting used to when walking as, on the rare occasions, when she does choose to walk right next to me the leg loops will go very slack so you need to raise the lead up a bit to keep a bit of tension, same applies if you walk ahead of the dog. No complaints here, highly recommend!

Sono proprietario di un american bully di quasi 25 kg ogni volta che uscivamo tira come un trattore! Tanto che la mia compagna veniva letteralmente portata a spasso da lui.... QUESTA PETTORINA È SEMPLICEMENTE FANTASTICA! Magicamente ha smesso di tirare cosa importante non crea assolutamente problemi al cane come il guinzaglio va in tensione lui si FERMA E NON TIRA ! ora ci possiamo godere delle belle passeggiate che dire.. Ich habe noch nie eine Rezenssion geschrieben, aber das ist es mir jetzt wert. Kurz zum vorher. Es war eine reine Katastrophe mit unserer Labrador Hündin laufen zu gehen. Man kann von laufen eigentlich gar nicht reden. Es war eher ein hinterher fliegen. Ich bin keine zarte Elfe, aber trotzdem war es fast unmöglich, den Hund zu kontrollieren. Wir haben alles mögliche versucht. Erstmal Leine am Halsband, das war nicht möglich, da sie sich fast stranguliert hat. Dann am Leine ans Geschirr, noch schlimmer, da sie ja dadurch noch mehr Spannung aufbauen konnte. Wir haben alle möglichen Ticks und Tipps ausprobiert, aber auch da, keinerlei Besserung. Dann bin ich durch Zufall über dieses Geschirr gestolpert, hab gedacht, für den Preis, kann man nichts falsch machen. Ruck zuck war es auch bei uns zuhause angekommen. Ausgepackt, gelacht, gedacht, die paar Bändchen sollen meine 30kg Hündin im Zaum halten? Naja, wir haben ja nix zu verlieren. Geschirr umgeschnallt, war erst ein bisschen kompliziert, aber wenn man den Dreh raushat, ist ganz easy. (Sie kann sich auch nicht heraus winden, wie einige geschrieben haben. Dann wurde es wahrscheinlich falsch angelegt. Man muss an dem Stück, wo die Leine dran kommt, eine Stopper nach unten schieben, dann hält es auch) Leine dran und ab nach draussen. Sie ist erstmal losgeprescht, wie immer. Aber durch den Zug, zieht sich auch das Geschirr zusammen, das hat sie direkt gemerkt und lief ganz brav. Ich traute meinen Augen nicht. Klar, sie läuft nicht Beifuss, sondern noch voraus, aber das ist vollkommen okay für mich. Hauptsache ist für mich erstmal, das wir nicht mehr durch die Straßen fliegen, sondern einen entspannten Spaziergang, für uns beide, machen können. Also für uns war es die optimale Lösung und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Tras entender cómo era el sistema para frenar a mí Bretón de 20 kg., el modo sencillo de colocarlo, el poder aprovechar el mismo collar para atarlo -cuando no estamos paseando- y el precio moderado, opté por adquirirlo. El resultado de momento en mi mascota funciona, y mi sensación es que seguirá funcionando, porque intuyo que está aprendiendo a pasear sin tirar, y cuando lo hace, nota que algo le impide hacerlo sin que le moleste. Advertencia ! Precaución a la hora de elegir el tamaño. En mi caso elegí el "Large" -40-60 (cm)- y he podido adaptárselo al cuello, pero en el límite por grande. Quizá le hubiera venido mejor, el tamaño inferior "Medium".
