I personally like the darker pages as they highlight the message and prevent any bleed through showing on subsequent pages. Although I will say that the pages are thicker and better quality than a regular children's colouring book.If you're used to bible journaling, you could add to the darker page, using mixed media (washi tape, die-cuts, stickers, acrylic paint, etc.) to further illustrate the verse.Added bonus: After receiving the book, I noticed a message to sign up for free extra colouring pages. I was sent a pdf of a further 6 related images to print, colour, pin-up, use in bible journaling. No unwanted spam messages from Inspired to Grace, just free additional images.
