The product I had received wasn't very water-proof. A year later, the seller kindly got in touch with me, offering me an improved version of their product - to test and review honestly.I was positively surprised to find that the new pair I received was indeed an improved version. When I took them out of the parcel, they already felt different from the old pair (I still have it in a drawer, so I was able to take it out an compare). Whatever they did turned the gloves into a more substantial version of what they were. I'm definitely glad to wear them in the currently VERY cold conditions we have here in Scotland.They also seem to do a lot better when they come in contact with water - if any downsides turn up, I will add more info to the review, let's see how long they will last! I wanted a warm glove with a cuff to keep the cold out when driving my mobility scooter. I work and have to go out in all weathers, so good gloves are very important to me. I've been looking for the 'perfect' glove for years, and this is it! There have been some changes from last year's model, but it is all good. They are very comfortable and you can use your hands with the gloves on. They are warm and waterproof and the long cuff protects from the wind. There is a plastic thing to hook the gloves together so less likely to lose one.ADDENDUM: We have just had freezing weather with snow and ice. Usually my fingertips get very cold even in the thickest gloves. These are the only pair I have ever used where my fingertips have been as warm as the rest of my hand. Size description was good. They could be 5 star if they are water proof.They were not water proof. Rain water went in through seams.then my hands were wet and gloves were heavy. I mean a freezing bag with band could be better option. Very disappointed. It made my hiking worst then worst.
