Good for not children and clumsy adults
If dropped they will likely break. If treated with care they will last and not leak. The curved top breaks when dropped I ordered 3 there is now only one. Oils is relatively easy to clean up but may stain fabric

Calming
My autistic grandson loves these. They are very calming when he starts to become anxious. Recommend for anyone who wants a calming distraction.

Not the best but ok
These arrived with excessive amount of air inside but was easily sorted by removing the rubber plug and using a syringe and an ink needle to add more water which mixed nicely with the coloured water in the timer and reinserting the plug.

Love these as do my kids.
I bought 2 packs of these as I wanted them for stocking fillers for my 4 children. My parents have one similar from the 70s/80s that my kids play with, as did I in years gone by so I thought something similar for them for Christmas would be good. As it turned out they all loved them, ages ranging from 2-11yrs. I gave one as a gift and kept one for.myself also. We love these as they are so simple and satisfying. They are not as colourful as the advertised picture but it doesn't matter, we love them and they are well worth the money. They have also been dropped and flung about a fair amount in the week since giving them and they all seem robust. They came well packaged in plain white boxes. I would buy again

Colours are good but the blobs fall uncontrollably upon the first turn. The ones I had before from a different firm were better in that respect.

A favorite!
We use these in my child care center. The children love these spiral timers, they are fun to watch and many find them very relaxing. We offer them when children need some time to themselves or to calm down. They are colorful and very stimulating to watch. The teachers and children both enjoy them!
