I have used it coincident to an oil change and also added it between changes. In both cases it has worked very well, indeed. I should not hesitate to add it without changing the oil, provided that there is room for it within the oil capacity of the machine. **Q: Will this work on a main seal for a beetle with an air cooled engine which uses mineral oil and only holds 2.5 litres of oil.** A: Depends on how badly the seal is worn, if just allowing a small amount of oil to pass and small amount of smoke then could help, if seal is damaged and need replacing then it wont help..certainly worth a try if just smoking slightly... **Q: Will this work to seal piston rings on a Zafira please** A: Sorry no.Only works on oil seals. **Q: i think my turbo leaking oil on my tt will it work on it.** A: I am confident it might. . Great product, would use agin. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another Lucas product in my bag of tricks ... *by N***L on 24 January 2020* After 300k miles, the car has a suspect oil leak (probably the turbo bearing seals) and to make matters worse, on a recent oil change I put in a slightly thinner grade of oil than I should. Used various Lucas products in the past (the fuel saver is really good, as is the oil stabiliser) and decided to get a bottle of stop leak and add a little to thicken the oil. Slight engine rattle disappeared immediately.
