What can I say???....a lot actually...and its all good
I had been thinking of getting a decent pull up tower for a while so have had seen quite a few. Most were very expensive, some were really big and some were so bad it looked like they used tin foil to build it. Even though there were so many bad ones there were some good pull stations at a good price. In the end I went for this one because it looked pretty solid, the pull up bar was facing forward (as the back was facing a wall it would of been a pain if it was back facing), it had a decent dip bar/knee raise support with plenty of padding, sit up support (which I never use though others might), adjustable press up bars, had good reviews and was at a very good price. So I decided to buy it. It arrived pretty quickly, in a big box (unmarked i.e.dents or scratches). I have to say the box was pretty heavy and it may need two people to lunge it through the house if your not that strong. Anyway I got it all out and was impressed but the quality of the pieces in the box. However the instructions could be a tad better. On the pictures it shows washers on one side only but infact you have washers on both sides of the bolts. All the parts and bits were there. Putting it together was pretty straight forward. I done it by myself but others may need another person as when trying to put on the knee raise back pad and dip bar arms can be a bit of a juggle and quite amusing. Once it was in all put together it looked great and couldn't believe how much I got it for compared to lower quality ones you could end up getting. It didn't move or wobble, takes my weight easily (12 stone). The padding it nice and thick of decent quality. It wasn't that big either, I had emailed the company to get the measurements which the quickly got back to me with and had thought it would be bigger but it wasn't. Weirdly because of the way it had been photographed it looks like the pull up bar at the top is a straight bar all the way but infact they are bent at an angle at the ends (Which is want I wanted and better for your wrists). When pulling up the back rest can get in the way a bit but that actually helps you improve your form and straighten up. If it really bothers you and you don't do knee ups you could remove the back pad from the cross bar if you wanted. Also I noticed someone said that the handle slipped off and he replaced them with bike handles. Instead you could wrap a decent tape around the metal so the original handle sits tight. Its up to you. So great price, good delivery, great service and great product. By the way I had this 5 months, still using it and its still solid. 5 stars

Good quality but you need additional "investment"
Product is sturdy, well build, overall good quality. It can support me without any problems (I'm 100kg/220lbs). Bits used for chest dips are solid pieces of metal welded together so no worries there. The back supporting pad is quite close when doing pull ups and you may find yourself pressing your belly against it during workout, but that's not an item fault, it is your bad form, so that's good way to tell whether you're doing it right (and whether you build up strenght). Station is also not too high so I can easily do pull ups without worries of banging my head against the ceiling (for full benefit you only need to get eye-bar level so again, no problem there). There only problems are caused by handles grips and plastic caps on base pieces. There are made of some very cheap chinese rubber and smell like a tank of petrol. As long as you plan to keep the tower in garage and workout in gloves it should be bearable, but if you want to keep it in your room as I do that is really annoying, and makes it even hard to breathe. Still 4 stars? Yes, solution to this problem is simple, yet you need to spend some extra money. You can replace the base's caps with silver tape :D and any bicycle handles grips fit on these handles. So if you don't mind buying 4 sets of bike handles grips, that product is an excellent buy. Seller dispatched the item very quickly and it arrived before the estimated delivery date.

Great Value!
I bought this power tower this week and I am very happy with it. I was wary about buying any power tower as (having not really used one) I could imagine it toppling over when using it but this one is so sturdy, it doesnt move around at all. There is a slight wobble on it when using it for tricep dips but not enough to cause any sort of problem. It arrived very quickly and was pretty easy to put together - I did it alone and it didn't take long. You definitely need to leave all the bolts a little bit loose while you are putting it together and then tighten them at the end otherwise bits wont quite fit and you'll find yourself tightening and untightening them constantly, but once it is all together it all fits perfectly. Like some other reviewers have said, the plastic handles aren't great but I use a pair of gloves and then they're absolutely fine. I looked around a bit before buying this and other power towers seemed to be very expensive so was wondering if this cheap price might be due to some design flaws or something but I can honestly say that I can't see any problems and think that this is great value for money - definitely worth a purchase.

Disappointed :-(
Pretty rubbish really, not tall enough or wide enough, generally the design isn't good. Doesn't feel as though there's enough space around you. You have to face out for pull ups cos if you bring your knees up a bit you'll bang them on the back. Ok for dips. Fairly sturdy. But overall not that impressed, only went for it cos of other good reviews. I looked at many options but unless you actually see these things it's difficult to judge. Feel as though the money is wasted.
