It is useful if you have really thick radiators. But it can apply to cases also. In my case I have 2 vents getting air from the outside installed after the radiator, on the front, on the inside, so pulling air in and another 2 pushing air from the case outside one in the back and one one the top... Hope it makes sense ;) **Q: Could I run this with a 12v battery and a on of switch ? If modified maybe ?** A: It's a 12v dc fan, so it doesn't care if it gets power from a pc psu, or a battery.
