I'm giving it a 5 stars. If you're like me and millions of others right now their seems to be a flu circulating and I needed relief since I want to eat a ton on Christmas and I can't enjoy food if my throat makes everything taste yucky. I invested in this as it does exactly what you want it to do. You spray it at the back of your throat and it numbs the pain almost instantly. As for ease of use it's simple, pull the tab, adjust the nozel and spray your throat 3 times every few hours. Now I brought cherry because it sounded nice but nope it's absolutely rancid it's a incredibly strong medicine flavour and it does linger I had gaged a couple of times lol but after rinsing your mouth it gets to work and then you have relief for the next few hours. Despite the size being pretty small it'll last ages. While it won't fix symptoms it does make the days much more bearable, no more pain when swallowing or making food taste bad. It really gives you that much needed relief. Like I said be prewarned that it works but don't amp yourself up thinking it'll taste nice as it's rancid lol

does exactly what it is meant to, would 100% recommend this product. the more you use it in the same day the less effective it may seem but does the job & numbs. effects lasts around around 1-3 hours per use but can use it up to 8 times per day. easy to use/spray

This product is amazinggggg!! I was suffereing with a hell of a sore throat i though was gonna be the end of me! I needed a quick fix just anything!! Found this product and was amazed that it was also an antiseptic.. feeling a bit spectic i purchased it with prime next day delivery. Product arrived the very next morning & i tried it straight away, i sprayed 3 times to the back of my throat, you can move the nozzle in a 180° to get it right on your throat. The product started to work almost instantly!! My throat felt numb & i was painfree, you do have to keep spraying every 3/4 hours but i felt content as i could finally eat& swallow properly after a long week of hell!

Purchased for Oral use (yes, THAT kind of oral), and it did the 'job' perfectly! (He will thank you, trust me) Sprayed 1 time at the back of my throat, numbed within a minute, completely shut down my gag reflex. It did give a slight stinging sensation immediately upon spraying, but that eased off in seconds. I did wait 2 minutes before gargling cold water to rinse out any leftover residue (so it would not numb the third party), and it still worked for me as intended. The flavour (and smell, actually) is quite nice, its a slightly minty fresh mixture of cherry. 1 hour later and my throat is still numb, although I am regaining sensation in some areas so I expect it to be worn off within the next hour or 2. I would highly recommend this, especially for 'that' use, although I would also recommend you research the risks and dangers of using it for said purpose too. 10/10

Forget about the taste as it's unimportant, you're looking for something to numb that horrendous pain of a sore throat that makes swallowing an anxious chore. It does work, there's a flaw in the way the spray bottle is designed in that if you're trying to reach the back of your throat with it, you're likely to catch your lip in the pump as you press it down, so not the smartest design for a bottle. the benzocaine is what provides the relief from the pain in the form of a temporary anaesthetic. You'll realistically get about an hour's relief per application. Although it does work, and it's handy if you can't get out to a pharmacy, I would recommend you to purchase Covonia Throat Spray instead (over the counter medicine) as it's both anaesthetic and antiseptic. Covonia uses Lidocaine rather than Benzocaine which lasts longer and there's also Chlorhexidine to fight any bacteria in the throat. it's also the same price for a 30ml bottle (a bottle designed so you don't catch your mouth on it), so you get more for your cash. Overall I give this 3 stars and I do recommend it... but only if you can't get your hands on Covonia Throat Spray instead.

I have tried the regular chloraseptic a number of times and found it brilliant for those raw broken-glass feelings in the back of the throat. It numbs the area slightly and is antiseptic in its make up, so if there are any throat infections lurking, they get a little zap from the ingredients. This, I believe, is why it is also anaesthetic as I am sure the antiseptic part should sting - yet it does not. Unlike its counterpart, this does not taste of a mouthful of wierd green chemical. It does not exactly taste of cherry, more of 'undistinguishable fruit' and as there are no taste buds on the back of the throat, you technically should not taste it, but taste it you do, as you will never get the EXACT angle to hit ONLY the back of the throat, so some will spray on the tongue and mouth. The attempt at flavouring is an improvement, but it still tastes suitably medicine-like. I used mine for three days and felt better, and what's more, I did not loose my voice, as I usually do after a bout of 'throat'. Reccomended to all, but not if you are actually expecting the taste of cherries! Don't forget to rate my review if you liked it and found it useful!

Doesn’t taste nice at all but it worked well and got rid of my sore throat so I persevered with it. I did have some difficulty with angling the nozzle and I think it would be better if it was longer but overall it’s a good product for the price.
