Wolf 900w Rebate Planer 82mm Planning Width Triple TCT Reversible Blades Superior Cut Razor Finish

I was looking for a reasonably priced Power Plane and from the description this is just what I wanted. The other reviews and customer feedback convinced me to purchase. Delivery was excellent and the product arrived very well packed, safe and secure, also to confirm its did arrive with a set of spare blades, a spare drive Belt and a pair of spare Carbon Brushes for the motor as well as the Guide and securing fixings, Instruction and Guidance leaflet, everything need. Cant comment about reliability but Wolf is a Brand which is known and should pride itself in that. Very pleased with my purchase.

I have had two now. The first one had bits missing which meant I couldn't use the side guide. Then it kept going out of alignment causing the plane to cut deeper on one side than the other. I got a free replacement which worked well for a few months and then the bearing on the cutter drum gave up causing the blades to start cutting through the plane itself in an alarming way.When I took the original one apart the bearing had started to go on that one too which had been the cause of the original problem. Looks like WOLF have skimped on the cost of the bearing.If you plan on using this tool a lot then buy a different one. This one will be fine for the occasional user though.

Husband (professional moaner) hasn't made any derogatory comments or thrown it across the room whilist using so I'm assuming its great!!!Sorry, no technical info on how it does the job, have just noticed it does!!Customer services were ace, had that human touch which is missing these days - would definitely buy from this seller again

Excellent product, very impressed with it.I used this product initially to trim the bottom of my kitchen door. The planer itself is quite sturdy but does weigh a bit and not an issue for myself, easy to use and very accurate cuts. The only issue that i had with the planer was that the attachment bag for the shavings collection is a bit flimsy. You have to regularly empty the shavings bag but i knew this when checking out the reviews prior to purchasing this product, otherwise a great buy.

Router would be so unpredictable. No idea of the depth set, and even if you assume you got the right depth set it would choose its own depth. As you begin the pass the router would dig in and take a huge chunk out of the wood you wanted to size leaving a router blade size curve in the wood. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. It went to the refuse tip and good riddance to it.

Wanted a good electric plane to go 'hand in hand' with my new circular saw. Excellent reviews and a good price made it a definite buy. Very solid and comfortable to use. I find it useful setting it to say 0.5mm and using it 'free hand'.A lot easier and more accurate than a hand plane.Came with two sets of spare motor brushes and 3 spare blades which can be used on both sides.Great value and quality.

The planer arrived well before the stated date and was well packaged.I bought this planer to trim my doors and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to set up and use and the finish was precise and excellent. I will now be using for several other jobs around the house, I have a couple of window frames to replace and several other jobs to do.Well worth the money.

I bought this to shave down some doors after having new carpets fitted. It did an excellent, quick job. It feels sturdy and well made, quite exceptionally so given its price. It's fairly heavy so perhaps might be cumbersome in some circumstances, and the dust collector bag is very small - I had to empty it after every 6' or so of planing. But the quality of the finish it leaves is excellent and as a tool for occasional use it represents outstanding value for money.
