Adapt can be brought on Amazon for about £3. Just look at also brought section and you'll find it. **Q: smooth body** A: Yes. It has a smooth body. Nice finish and its heavy. Very pleased with my purchase. **Q: how can you detach the hoses? I keep rotating them but they do not detach nor fix, can someone please help me?** A: Not sure why you are having difficulty? The flexible hoses have a threaded connection with a rubber "o" ring seal which connects to the tap. The hoses should be firmly hand tightened (so as not to damage the seal) by turning clock wise. To disconnect the flexible hose they should be unscrewed (anti clockwise). If the hoses are continually rotating you probably need a spanner on the hexagon connection and turn anti clockwise to unscrew.
