Travel Activity Pad (Tear-off Pads) (Activity Pads) Pocket Book – 1 Jun. 2013

I purchased this activity pad for a trip, and my 6-year old would not part with it throughout our holiday!It consists of tear-out sheets, containing word puzzles, maths activities, mazes, drawing, paper crafts, spot the difference, quizzes, jokes and more - each one different and colourful. Very appealing to younger children.Would recommend to any parent with primary school age children.Many of the sheets provided entertainment for the whole family. Very few of the activities were beyond my 6-year old. But we still have a good few pages left for the next holiday!Well done Usborne.

Love these Usborne activity doodle pads. Lots to do - pages easily removed for on the go. We took on holiday with us - great for popping in your handbag in the evening restaurants, or even by the pool in the daytime to 'chill out' in the shade on the sun beds! My boys (8 and 5) really love these. I often buy these for their friends birthday presents with a pack of nice felt-tips and get really lovely feedback from Mums & Kids.

This has kept us entertained over the summer, but some of the puzzles were quite tricky for my (bright) 6yo. I think this would be perfect for a child perhaps 7 or 8 so that they can do it all independently. It was nice to do the puzzles together, but not the easiest when travelling and hoping they could keep themselves entertained. Otherwise, a lovely, colourful book which has a multitude of things to do inside!

This book is brilliant! We have used it most days of our two week holiday; on the plane, airport layover, restaurants and downtime. The fact that each page is a different activity prevents the user getting bored. Our 6 (and a half...) year old son has a relatively short attention span but loved it, and other diners in our group liked joining in with some of the puzzles and games. I can not recommend this book highly enough and will probably buy another one for the next time we travel.I would say that a child between 5-8 would get a lot from the book, but family members either side of this age would too.

This book equally is great for kids when travelling or not. I bought before a flight and it had been used for months after.

Perfect for a 10 year old plane on a 4 hour flight. We did a ‘lucky dip’ game to make it more exciting. I picked the sheet by random and he did it. The sheets are good quality paper. Colourful activities. I’d say this is perfect for 7-13 year olds. Some of them would be to hard for little tiny ones, but then some made me think as an adult. We have lots left for our next holiday!

This pad was perfect for my daughter to take on the long coach trip to France she went on with the school. They were banned from taking phones or ipad etc and we worried about the very long journey. This worked well as she could tear pages out and share them with others.

Great item, pages are colourful and full of interesting puzzles and games. I bought it for my 5 year old but I think some puzzles would be more suited to slightly older children. There's quite a few pages he won't be able to do but there are so many it doesn't matter. I'm looking forward to a peaceful flight with a busy boy!
