The peace of mind they give makes them worthwhile
My previous breathalysers had gone out of date, unused in the glove box. Having read differing views as to whether these were needed or not for driving on the continent I thought I'd better play it safe and buy some more. The box I received looked different to that advertised but its still badged NF, the French standard. Also the use by date is Sept 2021 which is pretty good. At the price I think the fact they give peace of mind is well worthwhile.

Purchased for trip to France, where this is required by law. I think this kit meets all the standards! Make sure your kit is within date,as if police check it and itโs out of date......!!!

Meets a legal requirement in France
Not being a drinker I have no idea how good it is but it is required when driving in France.

OK,except I don't drink.
I have rated it as OK as I will never use it simply because I do not drink any alcohol whatsoever. But due to French laws I have to carry it in the car anyway. It's a complete waste of money for someone who does not drink but has to carry it to comply with the French laws.

No longer needed in France
Bought these as ours had expired. Great price, but I have since found out that if you don't carry these in France you won't be fined. We are only in France for about 20 minutes, but I never wanted to risk getting stopped and fined. So once these expire I won't be buying anymore, unless the law changes again. Although, saying that, the fine was only โฌ11, and we have never been stopped in France, so I think I would just risk not having them.

Breathalyser to be legal in France.
Exactly what you need when you driving in France. You need it if you are stopped by police in France. Next year it wonโt be needed as law changing.

You kind of need these in France. Ish.
French law says you need them whilst driving in France. Event hough they can't do anything if you don't! Erring on the side of not annoying the French police, they're in my camper for road trips!

Small and simple
A simple product to keep you safe in France. Just make sure the sell-by date is valid, because after 3 years you need to buy new ones. I haven't tried them, since I don't drink and drive, but they look simple enough.
