Great Lightweight and sturdy case for your Surface pro. Highly recommended.
This case is really good quality, like the built in stand, and the feel of the materials is great, does not feel plasticky like some cases, it has a soft but grippy feel.It does NOT make the surface pro feel bulky and it is really light weight.really great feature is the surface pen holder, no fear of it being knocked off. fits securely on the top/side which is a better idea than the magnetic holder.my only issue is the keyboard holder, as the large tab does not fold flat when pushed all the way back and if you lay the tablet flat of the table then it can cause the a very minor issue. So you need to just remember not to push it fully back. leave it sticking up at the corner.but once it is holding the keyboard it does fold flat.OTHERWISE:Overall I am very pleased with this case and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to travel out and about and needs a secure and lightweight case.

UAG Still Got It 5 Stars *****
fits my surface pro 2017 spot on add a bit of weight but you soon get used to it looks greatprotected from bumps scratches and drops UAG never fail to deliveras other people have said the stand is plastic ?no its metal and holds up pretty well place your thumb at the bottom of the locking stand to release and close you'll have no issuesthats only so you dont actually pull on the case and break the pin as again people have said just think about it it has 5 setting angles all of which i have used with no problems, buy this case you wont be disappointedme personally i feel its worth every penny i paid just under £38 quid

Wish I had bought this first.
I had bought a cheaper version previously, we always have and there's been only a few replacements. This time it was for an extremely pricey tab and unfortunatly it caused my tab's flap (kick-stand) to snap backwards. We bought this one and out of all of our own and our kids cases throughout the past decade, this one is so very durable, thick and secure...worth every penny and I wish I had bought this first.Pssst, do not snip/cut off the black tag - it will/can be slackened to fit the case around your tab, to then be pulled in tugging motions to tighten the case securely.

Works, but it is not perfect. The click sound when opening the kick-stand is horrible.
I have not done any drop tests and do not plan on doing any, but the case seems to work ok. There are a couple of complaints:1) The metal kickstand is a little-bit flimsy. It does the job and works in all situations, but does not leave a solid feel, such as the original one. The click sound when opening the kick-stand is horrible. Besides, it was bent a little-bit already out of the box, so one of the magnets did not hold it. I had to bend it slightly to fix it.2) It is a bit difficult to open the keyboard quickly. There is no gap to stick my finger to easily lift the keyboard.3) Rubber strip near the charge / USB port is too thin. If you accidentally grab / touch the device near the charge port, it easily pulls off (see picture). This is disappointing.4) It does make the device a bit heavier, but that is the price to be paid for protection. There is one big nicety - the pen holder works like charm. The original magnet-based solution is not solid, but the holder on the case is pretty good. This alone justifies the purchase.Overall it does the job and the quality is decent. But in spite of the high price, do not expect anything too fancy and do not expect it to be perfect.

Snapped after 8 months for no reason at all
Worked well for 8 months and protects as you would expect from the brand but literally the stand snapped for no reason at all, it only comes with a 30 day guarantee which isn’t really enough for this price of product

Good for Protection, Stand not so great.
Like all the UAG cases I have owned for various devices in the past, this one is great for providing protection for the Surface Pro 6. It's light, and doesn't add too much bulk to the device compared to the amount of protection you get. Protection of the device's corners are particularly important and UAG cases always seem to provide that well.I have not had any issues with cooling, but I haven't put a high demand on the CPU or GPU yet so this may change once I start using it for graphics and audio applications. It fits the device tightly, so tightly in fact that it was a little difficult getting the device inside, but that's a good thing in my opinion. All ports are accessible and all buttons are also operable whilst also being fully protected. The case also has notches where the speakers are, so that device sound output is not compromised. I don't own the keyboard cover but it loos like the case has a gap at the bottom to allow you to attach it, I may be wrong. The only thing that I am a little disappointing by, is the stand mechanism on the back of the case. Rather than accommodate the existing stand on the back of the Surface Pro 6, UAG have implemented their own stand, which is rather ugly with it's roughly finished metal edges. The ratchet mechanism feels like it is of poor quality, it's clunky and stiff. I wince every time I have to adjust it due to the amount of force you have to apply and the way it "snaps" into place, makes you worry it might break! For this reason I have only just discovered that mechanism can extend much further than I thought, but it still doesn't tilt as much as the Surface's own stand. Had UAG put a little more thought into the stand, this case would be near perfection.

Very sturdy protector
Whilst I was reluctant to purchase this due to cost I was pleased with the product. Having used UAG for years on my phone with great success, I am pleased I took the plunge. Having dropped my Surface already with the cover on (accidentally of course) the protective UAG cover did exactly what it promised. It fits well, although heavy and bulky, I don't mind this as it provides security for the device.
