**Q: This doesn’t seem to play new vinyl has anybody else had this problem?**
A: Using a cardboard cut out to lift the record makes it play new stuff very well

A: The sound quality  is adequate  for the price you are paying. It will never be the same as you might be used to on a regular  hi fi, playing cds. It was never an issue when I was younger  and I don't  worry about it now. I do play records with he volume  control turned up high. There Is the option to add external  speakers via the line out sockets and there is also a head phone socket , which I haven't  used yet. There is no auto return arm. There are 2 settings (on/off) in the off setting the record just continues spinning even after the end of the song but in the "on" position  I have found that some of my singles stop short of the end of playing.I now the switch  in the off position.

I love this portable turntable, I forgot how much fun it is to play a vinyl records. The sound quality is just Soooo different, the sound it makes when you lift up the arm and place it on the record, the way it crackles and pops on the record from the small dust particles, but the music is just so lovely when listening to it through a record player, it makes you feel “alive” and for me brings back some good old memories :) The Portable unit came in a faux baby blue leather case with chrome accent features which gave it a look from the 80’s. Really lovely and takes me back to my youth! Great sound for a little portable player. Take it into the garden and play my mums old 78’s as well as my own LP’s. Would recommend to anyone and just love the colour
