I believe that this cream has made a difference, though my experiences are hardly a scientifically conducted test. The reason I believe that it works is that I haven't put it near my hair line, wanting to avoid making my hair greasy, and I still consistently get spots in that defined edge-of-scalp area, which is why I think there is some merit in it. I do get some spots on other parts of my face but not as many. Other changes I have made are to use a cheap teenage-type face wash, plus I have been extra careful about very clean flannels and not touching my face without washing my hands, etc. Those things have to be factored in as well. Hence why I say it is not a very scientifically based opinion. Some acne has a lot to do with bacteria on the skin, so it stands to reason if you keep your face clean and as free from bacteria as possible that you will have some improvement. I believe that this Dermalex product has formed a useful part of a regime that has made a difference. A small update- again not very scientific- I have been using this product consistently now for about three months, with the other above mentioned regime, and I really do think it has made a difference.
