Oyedens CD Sleeves (100 pcs.) - Plastic Envelope for CD/DVD Storage

The cases are a nice thickness the quality that I'm used to. They were a bargain price and came the next day; - not much more to say really ..........I've been using these for a few weeks now and I've realised that they are NOT quite as thick as the ones I used previously, but still O.K. and do their job. A bargain!

I was rather cautious of the mixed reviews on these to date, but given the low price I thought it worth trying one pack to see; based on that trial I am so pleased with them I have just ordered another 200.The sleeves received are an excellent fit and seem well made - protective and secure but not too tight on the discs.The sleeves I received from Babz Media were labelled as made by Humlin and were actually 100 micron thick, rather than 80 microns as per the listing.I suspect that as the listing is essentially for an unbranded product, the exact type, thickness and quality will be partially luck of the draw depending on which seller you use.I have added a photo to show the packaging details for the exact item I received.These are now helping to sort out a large number of previously disorganised CDs and DVDs, and hopefully preventing further scratches. Storing them inside Really Useful 245 x 180 x 160mm 3L Box with Lid - Clear I can now easily find the disc I am after without taking up much more space trying to store them all in the original cases.For £1.45 for 100 sleeves including first class post these are exceptional value.Thoroughly recommended.REVIEW UPDATE: having ordered the same item from the same supplier again I was sent 80 micron sleeves as listed rather than 100 micron ones as before - it seems it really is luck of the draw what arrives!

I bought these sleeves as we seemed to have loads of CDs with no covers or cases of any fashion and I wanted a cheap option to keeping them clean and relatively safe.Upon researching the products available I settled upon these as being the cheapest option available that would do the job - as I had SO many CDs in need of a new home I didnt want to spend any more than I had to re-housing them, most of them weren't worth the extra expense (home recorded/backup discs etc). To be truthful I wasn't expecting much from these sleeves for the price I paid for them, believing them to probably be of an inferior material and flimsy, thin construction, but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived, they were of a pleasing consistency and sturdy enough to provide a modicum of protection to discs that are "thrown about" in storage and generally filed all over the place!Don't get me wrong, they're no substitute for a proper CD case but as a budget option, they are an excellent solution - so much so I went back and ordered another packet of them from the same seller a short while afterwards! I've had up to FOUR CDs in a sleeve without any problems or tearing at all and never had any trouble with bunching or sticking like some other reviewers reported - they're DEFINITELY large enough to hold CDs and DVDs - I don't know where those comments came from about size inadequacy!!?, all in all an excellent budget product and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :-)

They are very good quality especially for the money. The CDs fit nicely into them. You can see clearly what CD is in it. Very pleased with purchase.

As anyone over 30 will testify we are now living in the somewhat sudden demise of the CD and DVD as streaming becomes a deluge. Most homes have loose CDs and DVDs lying about , their cases long since coffee stained, broken or binned. A bit of PVC solves the problem.when it comes to doing your spring clean home makeover and give those cover less pre loved films and albums the new home and posterity protection they deserve.It's a simple task...once you've looked under the bed, settee, wardrobe, behind the fridge and cooker and washing machine and the many other places discs get discarded. A bit of a clean (I use spectacles cleaning wipes) and pop them in a nice new PVC cover. One day the grandkids will ask you what they all are...Where to put them all ? Well for my money....or rather lack of it another vastly underused resource in this day and age...the humble cardboard shoebox. Lidded it keeps them all together and dust free. A retirement home for all discs great and small.

A little too cheap feeling....too thin.
