Best thing i’ve ever bought, had it for well over a year and still functions brilliantly, easy to read the temperature and informs you if the temperature goes too low or too high and it’s so easy to use! just tap the bottom and putting it in the bath. Looking so good and blends well with other toys and definitely worth buying!

Unfortunately, the product stopped working after a while, as it doesn't have an on off function. When we replaced the battery, it ceased to function after about 5 minutes. The display is good, but of course we couldn't verify how good this is long term. Stick to a simple, reliable thermometer.

Very useful for our new baby

Ok, so it's a duck with a thermometer on its back. What can be said about this bathtime friend that hasn't already been said? Well, let me start by saying that this is the second one that I've bought and the first one was so good I've bought it again! The only reason for buying another one is that duck#1 had started to look a bit tired having been used regularly for over two years. I've got to be honest and say that I can't remember if I ever changed the battery in that one but if I did it wouldn't have been any more than once. I can therefore confirm that this product is built to last and I'm also happy to report that it works exceptionally well. Some other reviewers have reported that they've had issues with the duck listing (tipping over) or that the readout doesn't always work or is inaccurate. I can only speak from personal experience and say that this hasn't happened to either of my ducks. Admittedly, I had to encourage the display to come on by rubbing the sensors a couple of times with duck#1 but I suspect that was more as a result of limescale build up than anything being faulty with the product. My son loves this duck and lines it up alongside his magnetic ones like a surrogate non magnetic sibling. I can therefore also vouch for its robustness as the magnetic ducks usually end up 'flying' out of the bath onto the floor. In summary, this duck is built to last and it's very accurate. The only reason that it loses a star is that the battery compartment, as another reviewer has observed, is a complete PITA to open! I'm sure there were justifiable safety reasons for designing it this way but it's difficult to open. At this price it's replaceable though and if this one lasts for another 2 years I'll be very happy. If you've found this review to be helpful please click on the button below. The first one i unscrewed the bottom out of curiosity and then water ended up leaking.through but its a good.product. flashes red when it gets too hot. Bought again because im confident in the product and its a bath toy too. My lil girl approves and so do i

Does what it says and battery seems to be lasting well, been using It over 6 months

When we first got these duckling thermometers, they were a hit — my baby loved the bright yellow ducks, and the digital display made checking bath water temperature quick and easy. They float well and are definitely more fun than a standard thermometer, which encouraged safe bath routines. However, after about four months of gentle use, the digital displays stopped working on all three ducks. We followed all care instructions, and there were no obvious signs of water damage. At this price point, I expected better longevity. Pros: • Fun, engaging design for babies • Easy-to-read digital display initially • Floats and works well for bath time Cons: • Digital function failed after 4 months • Durability seems low for regular use Overall, they’re cute and useful at first, but I wish they were built to last longer.

The duck is very cute. The first time it worked just fine and floated straight on the water. However, every time a bit of water gets trapped inside, and is impossible to get out, which means that it is soon laying on its side and eventually it will sink. By making a small hole in the beak I can now get the water out and it works okay.

The duck works well. It is in Celcius not farenheight so you have to figure the tempature out.

Cogimos la tortuguita y va super bien. Mide genial la temperatura, te pone si está fría y si está muy caliente salta una luz roja. Tiene también una bolita dentro que hace de sonajero y sirve de juguetito para el peque. Lo recomiendo.
