Q: Can you use a soundbar on it and will it work on a Hitachi 55inch tv

yes but complete waste of time sound bars r only 2.0 stereo channel while yr 6 speaker speakers (only will use 3 for main music but dvds etc will be surround sound 5.1) and go to 🏠 button t5h settings then down to SOUND then across to speaker settings then LEVEL then to get alot of clarity /treble press upto 3 or 4 db on FRONT LEFT then RIGHT if yr system to bassy and overpowering go down to subwoofer (same area as b4) turn down to say -1 db or up abit to 0 db or +1 db adjust accordingly this is brilliant way to get correct sound ideal but when u use 5.1 surround sound adjust other speakers same way.☺

Q: Have purchased this system and a set of Samsung Bluetooth headphones having trouble pairing them up does anyone know if the headphones are compatable as we can't access the Bluetooth menu on the system

I don't think that you can connect by bluetooth.

Q: Will these work with additional speakers?

The system does not allow for this there is only 6 speaker inputs two front one middle two rear (surround) and a base perhaps one if the higher spec models will.

i would recommend checking if your tv has optical audio output, connect as many devices as you want/can to tv and reroute the audio via optical There are limited ins on the Samsung amp
