Organic Raw Virgin Coconut Oil

I see a couple reviews about the product being near it's end date. The first one I ordered over a year ago had a near end date and didn't do much for my hair, also took longer to melt compared to the one's I have received from this brand, but I think it wasn't working as well as it does work now because I washed it out incorrectly, and learnt how to use it properly by the time I ordered my next coconut oil from this seller.Every coconut oil since the first one from this seller that I ordered has always had an end date that's not for at least a year, so the quality is better. It melts quicker and sits in the end smoother.This product honestly saved my hair. I couldn't go without this brand of coconut oil, it's a miracle. My hair is straw if I don't use this, and I've tried tons of other products. I've tried a range of expensive hair products, but coconut oil is the only thing that makes a big difference. Put it on the whole of your hair or just the length, (keeping in mind that if you use it on your scalp often it might cause dandruff), leave on for 1-2 hours, (I leave it on for 2, some people it works better overnight), and then shampoo it out well including shampoo on the length of your hair and not just the roots. If you don't wash it out well enough then it will leave hair a little bit greasy and a tiny bit frizzy as the coconut oil will react with the water and the environment, and you will not get the results you want.Using this as a hair mask is also a great way to get rid of buildup, because if you use coconut oil before washing your hair, then you don't have to use a conditioner as the coconut oil is very moisturising on its own (I recommend still using conditioner if you don't have buildup), so your hair can have a break from silicone or heavy products causing the buildup if that makes sense.I have 1b hair, apparently coconut oil is not recommended for my hair type but it works perfectly with my hair.It also makes the ends ridiculously smooth, meaning this 100% prevents split ends and hides damage to an extent. It's really important to have this and use this consistently in your routine if you're trying to grow your hair, because you will have less split ends to trim.

Raw virgin coconut oil is a product with very many uses indeed! I personally purchased this one for my dog, I raw feed him and virgin coconut oil makes a wonderful addition to his meals. (Always check with your vet first to make sure supplement is ok for your dog.)This particular brand of coconut oil is fantastic quality and you get plenty for your money. It arrived extremely well packaged which was good. It lasts a long while too because a little goes a long way. Will purchase again when this jar runs out!

This thing smells absolutely fantastic. If you choose products based on the smell, you will love this. In the past I had tried "coconut oil-based" products but nothing compares to the real deal.I am not using this to cook or DIY homemade beauty products so cannot comment on that. I do however use it to moisturise my skin and nails and it's great. It's solid unless the temperature where you live is over 25 degrees Celsius. A tiny amount goes a long way. I use about a pea size in each leg after shaving and before my skin is completely dry, so it applies better. It really gives freshly saved legs that silky feeling. If you have mild redness from sun exposure, applying a little bit of this every few hours helps relieve the redness and soothe the skin. I also use it as lip balm. Even though the smell is immediately noticeable every time you open the jar, it does not linger for long and I don't notice it once I've applied it.I'm trying to limit or avoid both plastic packaging and unnecessary chemicals. This is a 453ml jar that's recyclable and reusable so it's a good option. Would recommend.

Very good quality coconut oil (raw and organic), I ordered it many times and always arrived promptly, well wrapped and perfectly sealed. I use it every day for cooking and also once a week as moituriser on my scalp and it's amazing how healthy my hair and scalp look and feel. Once I finish one jar I re-use it to put some spices or keep nuts and flaxseed. Also I discovered that soothes rashes, last summer we did lots of DIY and decorating around the house and garden and I got a nasty rash on my face, no idea what was the cause, dust, paint ... anyway my face was so sensitive that I could only wash it with water and then had to applied a tiny bit of coconut oil to sooth it and I couldn't believe that within 48 hours it was back to normal, even carrying on with the same level of dust/paint/sun. So I cannot say anything negative about this particular brand quality BUT...As I'm using it a lot I find it a bit pricey so I recently switched to another brand, equally good, but with an attractive introductory offer as well as an offer when you buy 2 500ml pack. I wish the company that sells this OPTIMA raw virgin coconut oil had better offers when you buy bulk, I was considering buying the 12 pack one ( but still you have to pay £5.80 per jar) and the one that I'm buying now it's slightly cheaper when you buy 2 and same quality and taste.
