The quality is surprisingly good for the price
I should start this review by pointing out that this isn't really a hutch- it's a shelter, no more. For rabbits, which is the use I bought it for, it's ok for a shelter within a run, or for rabbits living in a garden shed, but not as a permanent home. Bear that in mind. The house arrives flat packed and even as someone with very little DIY knowledge it was very straightforward to put together, taking me no more than twenty minutes. One thing though, do yourself a favour and make sure you have an electric screwdriver before you start- otherwise it will take you much, much longer. The quality is surprisingly good for the price, with a solid wooden floor, that is relatively thick. Mine came slightly chipped and isn't a perfect fit, but I added lino inside anyway to make it easy clean so it wasn't an issue. The ramp, unlike the one in the picture does not have the three grip lines on it. This was a slight issue for one of my rabbits as first as they couldn't get up the ramp without slipping although they have mastered it now.Size wise it's a good size. My two mini lops can easily lie in it and stretch out. My only criticism is the head height, the rabbits cannot stand on their hind legs inside especially when there's straw in there. However that does mean it's cosier for cold nights inside their shed when they retreat in here to keep warmAlthough you can't see from the picture this house is slightly raised off the ground- enough that my mini lop rabbit can squeeze underneath it when she wants to hide from me. Bear this in mind if it will be an issue. My only criticism really is that I had to air the house after it was first built as it had quite a noxious chemical smell to it. Presumably this was caused by the wood preservative, but I had to air it for two days before I put my rabbit inside. All in all though, very good value for money and I would recommend it.

Look after your pets
Living in the North East of England and owning cats leads to 2 things if they go out - they will at some point get wet and they will no doubt get locked out at times you rather they be in.I have 2 of these now having 2 cats, sometimes they share and sometimes they won't. It's piece of mind that they can have shelter from all elements whilst we are out at work, meeting friends etcThey arrived within the times given, flat packed and ready to assemble. So long as you have the right tools (simply a screw driver will do) then 10 minutes later it was built and ready to go. Make it homely by adding blankets or something soft to the bottom. It sits off the floor so not worries of flooding in really bad weather and most snow storms don't get that high.Without fail the cats are asleep in here when we get home and come straight in when the door is openend

Great hutch & easy to assemble
Bought for our tortoise but our cat took it over and uses it for his retreat when the weather isn't that great and he doesn't want to come indoors. Easy to assemble and the lifting lid (which is on a hinge) makes it easy accessible for cleaning. All in all a great wee hutch.

Poor
Put it together 3 times but for the life of me could not get the floor to fit it was too big!:! So i had to ask my daughter to make new screw holes and we did a bodge job. Was not happy as the concept looked easy but beware its not.
