I don't know which version - polyester or polyethylene - my guess would be the latter. Whichever I bought it is still intact and covering the table which is kept outdoors in car port. So I'd recommend it as durable and hard wearing & fitted our table perfectly. **Q: does it have holes in the buttom in order i could put a robe via the holes to tithen the buttom, please?** A: The Cornilleau cover does have eyelets and fasteners to tie it down with.
