Plasti-Kote PKT591 Polyurethane Clear Gloss Varnish Spray, 400ml

Used to add a gloss finish to an acoustic guitar I was repairing. This gave a really high gloss finish that gave really good depth to the finish, had never used spray lacquer before but was very impressed with this and would definitely buy again

I used it on a bass guitar body, works a treat! Great finish and easy to use! Recommended to anyone who wants a clear finish to show the wood! Thanks very much, i will probably use it again.

Putting a lot of thin layers really can put a thick gloss on wood, don't rush it, just bear in mind if wood is painted white it will appear yellowed as it is a yellowish gloss. On non painted wood it's great I know it says on the tin it is for unpainted wood but varnish is varnish

I use this in all my woodworms projects as it fulfils the perfect finish every time with no issues. Very pleased. I’ve used it on 5 separate projects. Dries really quickly and cures in a good time.

Just received this item a few minutes ago. The lid is damaged, and although does not affect the product, it could cause cuts to fingers to access the spray. Not worth returning, but just pointing out the damage which has sharp cracks.

Use this for spraying and sealing birch ply pyrography. Unlike some others it does not darken the wood as much and really brings out the colours. Great value for money.

I used it to coat brass that I have polished. It is quite clear which is what I needed but the spray was not as good as I would have liked. It took a few attempts coating badly then cleaning it off again but eventually I got an acceptable coating. Probably nothing wrong with the product, just the nozzle could be better.

this product was used to re-furnish a rifle stock. when used properly and after applying app 5 coats over 5 days, the finish is like glass. important points. shake can for at least a minute each time before use, keep the can moving when spraying at app 9 inches from object. very pleased with result and would highly recommend .
