This fitted perfectly on my classic soda syphon (Plastic glass effect syphon from 60s-70s). Great customer service, answered every query very quickly. Very robust product which is better than expected for me but might not suit all those looking for aesthetics. Love the hole in top to release excess pressure when removing after carbonation. I've used these co2 charge holders for beer barrels before and you must use a metal one. The plastic holders strip after a few uses. This one is very good quality and highly recommended BUT it does not fit retro soda syphons from Sparklets and BOC. I can fully confirm that - does not fit.

It was good at the beginning but after awhile of using it the inside of the charger becomes rusty and old! Good for awhile but not for long use.

Bough as a replacement for my MOSA dispensor, which stopped working with the plastic holder when i got too coldthis works like a charm, but can get very cold - shame the plastic plated ones were out of stock

Much better than the plastic ones that usually come with the cheaper dispensers. And fits my VonChef 0.5 Litre dispenser perfectly.

Good quality, replaced original and this one is a much better fit and feels better quality.

Pimp your ride..i added grip used for metal bats and glow in dark pin striped ... threads do not slide like plastic which releases charge when you go from plastic thread cap to metal base the threads on plastic get worn in... so once u go metal 2 metal yes 1st couple times you are will experience these thread mismatches if u try to go back to plastic the threads will not match metal to metal especially under pressure.... like a break in period....keep on .... the new metal to metal will mate and operation will smooth out... once u go metal 2 metal threads... plastic to metal etc. ...u will experience same thing... metal 2 metal is tighter thread lock.... plastic will groove and miss thread. . Once u go metal u don't go back... same principal in any situation or application with threads....u want plastic lug nuts on your car.... why ? Exactly how about motorcycle. Boat... your kid s bike.... think about it... Google it.. research there's no comparison ...

The original charger holder that cam with my unit was made of plastic. It was misplaced and I have not been able to use the unit since. This holder is made of sturdy aluminium, is better quality than the original, and fits perfectly. Very happy with it.
