A fantastic product to use when dealing with mud fever scabs on my horses! I use this to clean mud off the affected areas of my horses' lower legs before wiping them dry with a towel and applying udder cream to cover the scabs It is a much more gentle approach than hosing with water to remove the mud. I just massage it into the affected area to dilute the mud then wipe it off with a clean towel, then repeat until all the mud is gone.

I tried a number of Aloe Vera gels, different brands and different percentages of aloe and I can honestly say that this is the best I ever tried. Package is perfect, pump is working well and gives you a generous amount of aloe (don't press to the end if you want to apply on face as it's too much). The gel itself is clear, right consistency and doesn't smell, it actually leave you a nice and fresh aroma of natural ingredients. Once applied, the skin doesn't feel tight or give you any of that "dry" sensation that other products might give you. This aloe is 100% made with natural ingredients and you can feel it on your skin. The gel get absorbed fast and doesn't leave any "left over" or "shine" on the skin. I've been positively surprised from the high quality of this brand and will definitely buy again once finished (probably this will last me over 6 months). Quality/price is excellent. If compared with other 200ml tube products is superior in quality, cost and ingredients. Well deserved 5 stars.

low quality dispenser Not the gel itself The gel itself is good quality BUT the container’s pump is too low quality or defective , that happened in 3 occasions , we binned one and we asked to return one back to amazon …..something wrong with the pump function , not sustainable pump , initial few time was functioning as expected then suddenly stopped functioning at all and unable to get out any drops of the gel. That need to be reviewed and addressed by the manufacturer.

It’s a lovely gel like consistency. But the pump dispenser doesn’t work at all. Nothing. So having put the thing in and pumped it up and down millions of times I’ve now wasted a lot of expensive aloe. I’ll have to think again about something practical for dispensing it so that is a bit of a faff but not insurmountable. But it may be enough to put me off a repeat purchase.

Soothing and skin-firming especially for after-sun treatment. I even rubbed it into my head (I've not enough hair to stop the sun!) leaving both hair and scalp very happy. Lovely stuff but they are not selling it at the moment, pity as both I and my husband use it a lot.

Brilliant just what we wanted

I was expecting heaven from this product. However, I used it on my face and elsewhere after shaving in the shower and I got a rash, proper blotchy. I washed it off. The next day the skin felt raw and like pin holes when I touched it. I haven't been allergic to aloe Vera before so I'm wondering what else is in this. I've used it previously on sunburn including after shaving. The consistency is correct and it smells fresh. Not sticky at all. Hence the awkward title.

Great for sunburn, any skin condition really. 100% pure, unlike most other brands...check carefully the ingredients on those. This is pure quality. The pump thingy is a little fiddly but this is my 3rd bottle so I know how to do it now. Great if your Mum is from Lancashire...and called Vera. Say hello to your Mum.

Le proprietà di questo gel, estratto dall’omonima pianta, sono innumerevoli; l’effetto principale dell’aloe è quello di lenire, idratare e rinfrescare la pelle (quindi ottima contro le scottature, abrasioni, ferite non aperte, punture d’insetto, eritema solare, dopo barba), a questo effetto principale si aggiunge poi qualche proprietà antisettica ed antibatterica, nonché rigenerante dei tessuti (quindi aiuta le ferite a guarire prima). Gli effetti lenitivi si avvertono subito dopo l’applicazione. La tanica è sigillata in un ulteriore sacchetto di nylon, il quale contiene anche la pompa dosatrice e il tubetto di aspirazione. Una volta montato il tubo sulla pompa, semplicemente spingendolo in sede, è sufficiente rimuovere il tappo dalla tanica e sostituirlo con la pompa. Da notare che il tubo è già tagliato alla misura corretta (spesso mi trovo a dover adattare la misura del tubo quando la pompa non è già inserita, ma non in questo caso… cosa apprezzata) Il Gel è limpidissimo, il che significa che è davvero “puro”, nel senso che viene depurato di qualsiasi residuo vegetale, in modo da risultare appunto trasparente (così si evitano anche fastidiose macchie in caso di contatto accidentale con i vestiti, tanto per dirne una). La consistenza è FENOMENALE: è davvero molto denso! Ovviamente questo non pregiudica assolutamente l’applicazione in quanto, spalmandolo sulla pelle, praticamente si trasforma in liquido leggerissimo e rinfrescante (sembra quasi acqua) che si assorbe istantaneamente senza lasciare nessun (e ribadisco nessun) residuo! Tutto questo è dato dal particolare addensante (perché il succo d’aloe non è naturalmente un Gel, ma è piuttosto liquido e, per diventare appunto Gel, viene gelificato!) che nei comuni prodotti in commercio è costituito dalla Gomma Xantana (ricavata da un albero), mentre in questo caso vengono utilizzati estratti di alghe i quali sono notoriamente noti per non lasciare residui. Tanto per chiarire: la Gomma Xantana, asciugandosi, crea una pellicola sulla pelle. Questa pellicola, a contatto con umidità, sudore, o qualsiasi liquido… si scioglie. Questo genera una sensazione di viscido, soprattutto se vi eravate applicati il gel sulle mani! Bè… tutto questo non succede con questo Gel… FANTASTICO! _________________________________ 💡 CONSIDERAZIONI: Che altro dire… mi sono dilungato già tanto poco fa… Io personalmente lo trovo con una marcia in più rispetto a tutti gli altri Gel Aloe che ho provato, primo per la limpidezza, secondo per la particolare densità e l’effetto che da spalmandolo sulla pelle: è davvero piacevole e rinfrescante! Essendo depurato, è possibile applicarlo più volte nello stesso punto nel giro di pochi secondi (grazie anche all’assenza della gomma xantana). Punture di insetti, arrossamenti da sfregamento, ferite, dopo la barba… sono solo alcune delle applicazioni che vi posso garantire: effetto immediato! Per le scottature, non creando la pellicola come i Gel contenenti Xantana, è eccezionale: rinfresca e lascia respirare la pelle al 100% Ho letto qualche recensione in cui gli utenti si lamentavano del fatto che ci siano “un sacco di conservanti”: non è così! L’unico conservante che si trova all’interno di questo Gel è il Sorbato di Potassio, contenuto in TUTTI i cosmetici e in gran parte degli alimenti, nonché nei vini… quindi non vedo quale sia il problema: preferireste dover consumare tutti i 5 litri di Gel in una settimana dopo l’apertura? Io direi di no! NB: Proprio per il fatto che non contiene molti conservanti, in una recensione ho anche letto che dentro era andato a male… quindi figuriamoci se è “pieno di conservanti”. Proprio per questo motivo, ricordiamoci che stiamo parlando di un Gel composto al 98% e più di estratti vegetali i quali, purtroppo, marciscono (come tutti i vegetali di questo mondo)… Quindi il Gel va conservato in luogo FRESCO e AL RIPARO DALLA LUCE. Personalmente? Very good gel for dry skin. I use it not only for skin but also for my dry, curly hair. Hair after using it super soft and easy to brush. Pump is working lil bit to hard and for small amount need to push it very soft to not get to much gel in one time. For sure i wi get more.
