Can someone confirm?** A: This brush IS just boar bristles & I was confused by that one commenter's post that it had nylon quills. It does NOT. There IS a Denman brush that does but its description clearly indicates "nylon pins". For the record, I own that brush also & it has boar bristles with a nylon pin in the center of each cluster of bristles. I use the 100% boar bristle brush for smoothing & on my delicate edges & the boar bristles with nylon pins for reaching my scalp thru my very thick hair. The 100% boar bristle brush will not penetrate thick hair so choose carefully based on your hair density & styling needs or buy both for each need like I did.
