Biotène Dry Mouth Moisturising Gel, Moisturising Gel, Specific Formula for People with Dry Mouth, 50g

I normally use another dry mouth gel that is twice the price so thought I'd try this cheaper option. I should have taken more notice of other reviews. This is so sweet it burns your throat. For a non sugar fan it is not at all palatable. Not only does it taste bad but it really doesn't do the job. There is no lasting moisturizing effect in the mouth. Within a few seconds all that remains in your mouth is the chemical taste of sweetener. This may be cheaper but it is a waste of money. I have already ordered my more expensive brand.

This was my first time trying out this product. I have been using it about once a day for more than 2 months now. As well, I have been using Xylitol gum which works shortly after chewing but has no long lasting effect. This product was easy to use in the mouth but did absolutely nothing, so won't be buying again. Gargling with Glycerine and some water works better and is much cheaper!

I purchased this gel with hope to reduce the mouth dryness that occurred when I am going to bed or sometimes working on my computer. It has a really sweet (likeable) taste and is easy to spread on the tongue. However, apart from the taste, the real value in terms of suppressing the mouth dryness seems ineffective at least from my own experience. My mouth remains very dry after following procedure of applying this gel on the tongue as stated on the tube.

Was purchased for my older father as he suffers dry mouth at night. It did indeed help with the dry mouth but soon after his lips swelled up twice size. On reading online it is a possible side effect but not obvious when we purchased. Might be ok for some, but not for us.

Bought this for my grandmother who suffers from COPD, and as a result causes her dry mouth when breathing at night especially. This product unfortunately didn't help at all. Like other reviews I've seen, it lasts for a very short amount of time and it just not worth buying. She used it two or three times and it didn't help.

This gel is rubbish!!! It works for 15 minutes then it becomes sticky and I wake up lips stuck to my teeth, makes my dry mouth worse if anything its going In the bin.

When I got this it said not to use it if the seal was damaged, but I'd already put it in my hand luggage when I came to use it there wasn't any seal on it at all?.I'd disregard the box when packing my bag, makes you wonder if this product,is if its safe to use.

Texture ir thick and gooey Tastes of nothing yet made me wana puke Did nothing! I didnt find it helpfull whats so ever and i have a very bad dry mouth, i was so excited that iv finally found something that will help but in my case i need to keep looking

Why is this product so hard to find in Europe? It is absolutely essential for me due to severe dry mouth at night. I haven't found any pharmacia/apotheke in Italy, Germany or Austria that carries it. No other product works as well; not even close. I'm really glad I can find it on Amazon, but it's a lot more expensive than in the USA, like SO MANY THINGS.

I use this for dry mouth and it works perfectly. I don't love the berry flavour or the price, but will continue to buy it because it's the only product that works so well.
