2 x 2 First Response Pregnancy Early Result Test Pack

I had just miscarried, when I bought these tests, and was still going through something, so I never actually expected a positive. I took the test, because I realized I had been extremely emotional, but after taking it, looking at it, it one line, adn for a split second, I was like “yeah, no. Why am I doing this to myself, it’s negative” and looked myself in the mirror, then I looked again, and saw the test line, appearing, just so suddently. I was a bit shocked, and I thought “not again”, because exactly two months prior, I had another positive which ended in a miscarriage. This was in Aug 2021, so now I have a son, who will turn 1 year in a month. Out of 10 pregnancies, only one was successful, so if we ever try again, I will be using these, because I believe they have a good luck charm effect on me.

They packaging was a bit weird and flimsy, and felt like counterfeit - the product itself worked fine as described, so probably ok.

After spending over £60 on first response and getting faint positives before the time limit, all lines began to appear as soon as the dye moved across, I got a blood test to confirm. I have no hcg detected in my blood so these tests are obviously very wrong.Yes they are sensitive but very upsetting.

Seem to be accurate enough however I noticed the control line was alot thicker and wonky not like the ones I usually buy from superdrug so I think these might not be ligit first response 🤷‍♀️

After a long week of going through different bands of tests, I was finally pointed in the direction of ‘First Response’.Which has finally given me a CLEAR answer. I had a rollercoaster of a week, not to mention the amount of unnecessary spending on tests. I went through a few different brands, which I should outright name and shame because of the false results. Evap lines!!! So when I put these pee sticks to the test, I was a little on the fence of the outcome. It may not be the result I was looking for, but it sure has put my mind to rest. I didn’t know evap lines where even a thing until going through all the emotions and googling my results for answers.. I mean, I brought tests to tell me the results? But they left me in more of a pickled state of questioning than before!!From my experience, I would highly recommend these tests . The results are clear in 3niins. I know you shouldn’t, but I checked half an hour later before throwing it in the bin, just to see if any sneaky evap lines had appeared after the time. But nope, the test did not let me down.
