An all time classic, stitched seam, quality little note book. Simply works well.

High quality paper that doesn't let ink bleed through, well bound with a durable cover that's nice to the touch. The one I carry around on a daily basis is still in excellent condition with no bowing or tearing. Small compartment for loose scraps of paper at the back is also a nice touch. Exactly the quality you'd expect from Moleskine.

I thought I would give Moleskine notebooks a try as they were on offer from Amazon . I was expecting a product a little better than the average notebook which it probably is . Unfortunately these books have been put together in such a way that it’s hard to tell whether they are upside down or the correct way up. The pages actually look upside down even when the pad is the right way up! The only give away as to whether these pads are the right way up is whether the Moleskine name on the back is readable . There are a few good points. The brown cardboard cover is thick and strong making the pad sturdy . There is a pouch in the back cover which is handy for tickets etc. Some of the pages in the back of the pad are made to easily rip out which is useful. The paper is of reasonable quality and works fine with my ballpoint pens. Not sure how a fountain pen would work . The pad is reasonable a size being not too small or big being 15cm high and 10cm wide. I bought these for about £2 each in a three pack which is a little expensive. I don’t think I will be buying the lined version of this book again for the reasons stated . However I might purchase the blank page version of the price was right .

I love this size of notebook and have them dotted around here, there & everywhere, just in case! This is a cellophane-type wrapped pack of 3 of the lined version, each of which measures around 14 cm x 9 cm with rounded corners ~ a useful size for a pocket. Each notebook has 32 pages/64 sides of good quality, cream coloured paper with no margins (top, sides or bottom) and 23 lines with around a 0.5 cm gap between. The last 16 pages are perforated for relatively easy removal, if required, with the back 8 benefiting from an additional perforation around 2 cm wide to detach and keep in the flap in the inside back cover, perhaps. The covers come in a variety of colours in a pack of 3 ~ all the same colour. The cover is flexible but durable, in my experience, although I do have a 'wrap' on my 'best handwriting' one, to make it stand out from the crowd. ‘Moleskine’ is lightly impressed on the bottom of the outside back cover but is barely noticeable (image below refers). With an additional leather binding, these fit happily in my trouser pocket and are perfect for notes on the go. I use with a Kaweco Liliput and there are no issues at all with bleeding through. Absolutely excellent quality.

Quality notebooks. Well-made & great value for money. Recommended.
