bought this for my sons bike, I had a looked at a few they where either too expensive or had bad reviews that deterred me, this arrived it is good quality, easy to install and now stops the handle bars from slipping! we went to Devon in august and I had a go on my sons bike down the black trail in Haldon forest and it was fine and i am considerably heaver than my son! would recommend!

Quality and finish were far better than the listing pictures suggested. Had to trim my steerer tube to fit (or add more spacers), other than that it’s great. Very happy for the cost.

Solid bit of kit and a mad value for money, taken this down reds and the occasional black on my down country bike, works a treat!

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for, but I think it will definitely last.

Nice looking stem, matches my bike. Pretty good value for money, have been using it for a few months and have noticed no negatives, delivered fast too. Definitely recommend.

Easy to fit and nice and light

Many people reviewing have zero mechanical knowledge. Quite simply, small bolts, small torque... If you're going to hang off an M4 bolt that screws into an aluminium thread, guess what's going to happen? All stems are like this, they only need nipping up to around 4-5nm. Comments on locktight for the bolt threads are sensible advice.

The stem looks great and isn't too heavy at 140g. I tightened the 6mm bolts to 6Nm as I usually do on this size bolt and the bars were twisting. I upped it to 8Nm and it seemed OK until my first test ride and the bars twisted again. A quick ride home and tightened them to 12Nm. This seemed OK although I haven't ridden it in anger yet on some really rough terrain so they might need tightening even more, which does seem a bit too much for this size bolt. Update... The over tightening/torque problem was the bolt heads binding in their counterbores in the stem before they even started clamping the stem onto the fork steerer. I ended up just putting a little grease around the washer/head of each bolt. I tried 4Nm torque at first and the stem tightened up OK but I tightened them to 7Nm just to be safe. I have tried twisting the steering with some force in my garage with no movement. I will ride the bike soon just to check but confident it will be OK. I don't know if it helped any, but I tapped the 6mm threaded holes all the way through the holes (they stopped short originally) before adding the grease just to make sure the bolts weren't bottoming out as it did look close. Should be OK with just the grease if anybody has a similar tightening problem.

L'attacco si presenta solido e davvero ben costruito. Nero lucido, loghi e scritte bianche e zero imperfezioni. Di certo è progettato per un utilizzo mtb di medio livello, ovvero non lo metterei alla prova in discese a strapiombo tipo downhill. L'ho preso per la bici di mio figlio che aveva un attacco troppo lungo per le sue attuali caratteristiche, così adesso la postura è più eretta ed il controllo sul mezzo maggiore. L'articolo non snatura la bellezza della bici e consiglio l'acquisto ad occhi chiusi. Due piccole attenzioni: 1) l'architettura di costruzione dell'attacco lascia intravedere il colore del canotto della forcella; valutate bene se questo vezzo estetico piaccia o meno; 2) nel mio caso ho dovuto aggiungere dei distanziali al di sotto dell'attacco (1 cm). Procurateveli per tempo per non rimanere con la bici smontata e non immediatamente utilizzabile.

Buon attacco manubrio. Acquistato per sostituire un attacco manubrio più lungo per vedere se mi trovato col manubrio più arretrato. Devo dire che facendo cross country vabene. Provato anche in discese un po spaccate. Bel complesso fa il suo lavoro. I bulloni sembrano buoni. Non ho avuto problemi di montaggio. Penso di cambiarlo, ma per abbinarne uno originale per la mia bici, non perché ha dei problemi. Nel complesso dopo una decina di uscite si è comportato bene. Il manubrio è rimasto serrato bene. Buon prodotto

C'est une très bonne potence surtout par rapport qualité prix les finitions sont parfaites elle convient parfaitement a mon enduro elle a un très bon style mais au bout de quelque sorties des taches de rouilles sont apparu sur les vis hors je nettoie toujours mon bike et je le laisse dormir au chaud donc peut être que c'est une erreur de ma part. en tout cas cest une très bonne potence que je recommande
