" A kettle is one of those products that everyone needs but is often taken for granted and not thought about until it stops working, then PANIC... a rush to get a replacement..! ". My old kettle which is the same as this one has lasted for 9 years and I expect this one to last at least the same... I have only this kettle for a number of days now and yet it feels like an old friend reborn and luckily with a quick delivery, I was able to get my usual fix of coffee in... This is a quality product that is quite elegantly shaped which would blend into any kitchen and together with its rapid boil feature makes it basically bliss... bearing in mind the more water being boiled, the longer it will take .... this stands to reason. Over time though, my old kettle, I have found that trying to open the lid a few minutes after the boil was quite difficult where the heat had swelled the lid catches. To avoid this, I had to either open the lid directly after pouring cups to let the excess heat escape or wait until the kettle had cooled. This is not a big issue though, but just an understanding of the way things happen. Although the kettle has a great capacity, I have sometimes used it with 1 or 2 cups worth of water to get a faster boil time. Cleaning and descaling is a doddle too as the element is fitted in the bottom, so there is no fiddly shape to clean. The switch on the kettle has a light fitted into it. This is a great improvement to my old kettle which had a blue light Indicator inside the kettle that only worked for a while before it stopped working. I suppose it was more of a novelty feature than a functional asset. I have noted that this new kettle seems a little rocky when seated on its base. I think this is because it is so new and in time it will just settle in. Obviously getting a 3 year warranty if you register online has it's own insensitive value as well. In any case, if you had a kettle which lasted 9 years, wouldn't you get the same one again..... come back in 9 years and prove me wrong.........

Makes bread hard and brown as required. Cheap and cheerful and good enough. Main issue is that the silver on top is quite hard to clean. Mine has just broken after 9 years (won’t stay down) and have bought the same one as a replacement.

Nice product, it works fine, I like it, it worth its price.

A beautiful looking toaster. The grey exterior is very clean looking and doesn't show fingerprint marks. It can accommodate wide slices of bread, halved rolls or crumpets. It toasts evenly and quickly. I like this product so much I intend on buying the matching kettle. I would highly recommend purchasing it.

It’s an ok kettle, lightweight, easy to fill and boils quickly. Annoyingly it leaks a fair bit while pouring, unless you pour extremely slowly. I guess the lid doesn’t fit well. If that doesn’t bother you then it’s a good budget kettle.

This is my second one of these and it's a great kettle especially if u live alone and only boil one or 2 cups at a time very fast boil but the spout does drip water when pouring.. So I've got a little tray for my cup to sit on rather than wiping counter each time.. Otherwise it's a nice looking kettle very clean look

Gesucht hatte ich eigentlich einen Wasserkocher mit mdst. zwei Liter Fassungsvermögen und mdst. 2200 Watt Leistung: für mich ziemlich unverständlich, GIBT es sowas NICHT mehr, ausser in Versionen mit "Glas"-Körper: das sind die welche man mehrmals monatlich ausführlich mit Essig- oder Zitronensäure behandeln/reinigen muss, damit sie nicht völlig verdrecken/verkalken (obwohl wir grundsätzlich nur gefiltertes Wasser verwenden!) - und die trotzdem ständig Sch...se, verschmiert, verkalkt, oxidiert aussehen. Warum die offenbar so beliebt sind: nicht nachvollziehbar. Früher gab es auch 2-Liter-/2500 Watt- Versionen mit Kunststoff-, Metall- Ummantelung: warum nicht mehr, bleibt ein Rätsel. Dieses Modell war die einzige Alternative - und: es gibt sie in Deutschland nicht ... Deutsche lassen sich halt gern verar...en. Aus UK (schnell!) geliefert, leider mit entsprechendem Stecker, so dass noch ein Adapter her musste. Zwar nur 1,7 Liter, dafür aber 3000 Watt, das kocht rasend schnell, da kann man das fehlende Volumen ausgleichen. Dennoch zwei negative Punkte: die Einfüllöffnung ist recht klein, so dass es häufig beim Einfüllen (aus dem Wasserfilter) daneben tropft. Es würde schon reichen, wenn der Deckel beim Öffnen weiter auf gehen würde. UND: das Kabel ist mal wieder eine Katastrophe, viel zu kurz, aber das ist ja mittlerweile bei etlichen Geräten so. So liegt das Kabel häufig im Weg, man kann es nicht so legen, dass es nicht stört. Der Kocher sieht aber wenigstens sehr gut aus. Allein im Vergleich zu allen anderen - Hunderten ! - hier angebotenen Geräten, die alle mehr oder weniger gleich sind, kein Hersteller wagt mal etwas oder DENKT mal NACH ...! , kann ich hier "4 Sterne" vergeben. Alle anderen Geräte sind noch deutlich unpraktischer, unbrauchbar, hässlicher. Der "Freie Markt" funktioniert nur, wenn Hersteller/ Produzenten/ Designer (und Käufer ...!!) ihre Freiheit auch SINNVOLL *nutzen* ...

Filter does not stay in place. Arrived as an open box. Very disappointed with product quality and the fact it arrived in an open box.
