what are the advantages of omega supplements

Mainly improved cardiovascular system as far as I know. At least that seems to be the case for me. I had a minor heart attack but couldn't tolerate statins. I've been on fish oil every day since and my cardiologist has seen my condition actually reverse. Quite rare as I understand it. I've heard it can also help with depression.
