Animal Health Oat Hay - Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchilla, and Small Pets 425g

I have 5 house rabbits and a guinea pig, so we get through masses of hay. I have bought Oxbow for many years and I trust the brand completely. Jack rabbit (in the photo) has dental problems and he's very fussy about what hay he eats. But, this is his favourite. He loves to nibble it from a hayrack and also when he's in his litterbox. Rabbits like to eat when they're on the loo, so it's important to ensure they can access hay. I stuff a couple of handfuls in a corner and replenish when needed. Jack and my other bunnies eat every single bit, so although it is more money, this and the quality makes it worth every penny. This is a good quality hay, from a well renowned brand from the US and as long as I have rabbits and/or guinea pigs, I'll be an Oxbow customer!

My two buns are rather fussy when it comes to hay so I was skeptical on buying this. They seemed pleased with this when I mixed it in with two other types of hay/grasses. It's quite a hardy hay so will help keep those back molars at a reasonable length. It smells lovely when you first open the packet but my only gripe is the 425g bag doesn't last long at all with two hungry rabbits and they're both dwarf! Overall good product and would purchase again but in moderation.

My guinea pigs absolutely love it. But it's extremely expensive for what it is. They get a very small handful of this on top of their usual hay as it's too expensive. It isn't good value for money but I would buy it again purely because the guinea pigs adore it. EDIT: second bag was quite yellow and they didn't love it. Clearly the quality varies, I won't be buying it again.

Item arrived fast, it looked fresh and smelled fresh, I should have bought more as it did not last long the guinea pigs loved it

Disappointed when I opened the box that the bag was had a circular rip across it and the self seal to keep the hay fresh is useless now due to the damaged bag. On a positive note our bunnies seem to like this new hay to give them a variety but it is very expensive for the bag size.

I used this hay when our guinea pig lost a massive amount of weight. Within a week almost back to his usual weight thoroughly recommend it as a tonic boost.

My Guinea pig Gizmo loves this brand so much, that I now have it on repeat delivery, no dust or bits, he is really happy , and that's what matters most to me and it is good value to.

El heno llega verde como debe ser. A mis conejos les encanta porque es crujiente (la hebra es "dura", no blanda como la hierba del campo). Me recuerda al heno Timothy que tanto les gusta y así tenemos más variedad. Ojalá lo hubiese en formato de 1kg. Es bajo en calcio, por lo que para conejos con problemas renales es recomendable.

Le foin est bien vert et sec parfait pour mes chinchillas. Je recommande
