simple to set up and performs well
i feared it would arrive damaged but it comes in good packaging which prevents this. i recommend this product as it looks stylish whilst also having a mature colour. only thing you’ll need is a standard screwdriver (phillips head) to set it up. would be even better if it had weights in the legs

Does the job, but very poor quality and over priced
Bought this for my home office, the painted components are poor with patches of pint missing and the frame isn’t square on assembly. Also one of the screws is a poor fit.All in all, not good value for money.

An excellent and useful addition to the household
People have mentioned the odd glitch with this product but either everyone was on top form the day ours was made or the glitches have been ironed out - except one screw was stiff to screw in and tired my paw working away at it.It was easily put together even by this OAP Dormouse (moi) and its smart looks enhance the Dormouse household and transforms an untidy pile of papers into a tidy appearance. The trays slide in and out beautifully freely and accurately. If you carry it around there is a danger of one or much more annoyingly ALL the trays sliding out suddenly and dumping their contents in a tangled heap. I now carry it around in one paw and push back down a bit on the back edge of the top tray with the other paw. The trays only slide forwards so this works nicely. Now all I need is to get on with dealing with its contents and sadly the letter tray doesn't help you with that. I considered docking it a point for its unhelpful attitude but Mr Dormouse persuaded me I was being very unfair on it. I may instead buy more.

Alright purchase
Handy for holding documents etc. Not so impressed with the sturdiness of it as it’s quite flimsy need to really tighten it wasn’t impressed when it arrived as instructions where poor and the metal itself has a couple of bumps and it’s bent slightly at the bottom of the legs apart from that overall happy purchase holds what it’s supposed to

Trays pull out like drawers
This seemed tricky at first as you need to screw it together. All screws supplied just needed crosshead screwdriver and 5 minutes. Instructions simple. Quite sturdy and rigid when assembled. Impressed that the trays are like drawers can then slide in and out or be taken out when needed. Easier access than some in trays where they sit tight. Bought for my high school son to organise is homework on his desk and he loves it. Quite lightweight so moves around a bit on a desk though but otherwise fit for purpose.

Great value for money, deceptively sturdy design.
As far as shelves go for the desk, these are very simple, sleek and fairly sturdy. The instructions state that it should take about five minutes to put together. (I think this includes popping the kettle on for a brew!).There are literally SIX screws you need to insert and tighten before the double A-frame is assembled - this took all of 60 secondsFrom there you simply slide your shelves in.Very easy to put together! It looks great! The shelves are lightweight aluminium, but when fully assembled form a rigid structure.

Shelves slide out every time it moves
Shelves keep sliding out when you move it. I had to stick the shelves with blue tac to keep from slipping out. Assemble was tricky as screws spin around in the screwslot - needs brute force!

Sleek, sturdy. Office desk staple.
This is a brilliant desk storage item. Very sleek. The trays have a pull out system which is convenient for the middle and bottom tray. I would say the black paint can scratch. However it's fine if you're only using it for paper documents and not moving it about too much. The handle on the top makes it easy to move it around if needed.
