For small areas where you have access then sure, for whole, existing walls no. **Q: Is it for windows installation? Low expansion?** A: It’s medium expansion, but very durable and sticky. One of best foams I use for fitting casements and sashes windows. Do not over-do-it, but 20 min it’s enough to start pealing/cutting dry but not completely hard overgrow. **Q: might someone know if this is close cell or open? gap filler or insulation please** A: I'm trying to find this out too. I think these types of foams tend to be closed cell with a proportion of open cells depending on what happens in the moment as they expand and cure. I've seen the odd product info sheet for various soudal foams and they say 70- 80% closed cell. However I got a bit confused by a Soudal Singapore site that was going on about the virtues of their open celled foams. (?) Anyway I think it's good for gap filling and insulation. They make foams which are slightly more tailored towards insulation or adhesion or whatever the primary aim is.
