Question 1

Is this product suitable to ease Bruxism (teeth clenching) during sleep?. Also where on the body is it best sprayed?.

Accepted Answer

I find it relaxes muscles at the point of application so for bruxism I'd possibly apply to the back of the neck and shoulders. I've used the standard magnesium oil and that is good for relaxing sleep, but this stuff is on another level. It's almost like a tranquiliser.

Whats the diffetence between this "night time " magnesium oil and the "original"?

The night time oil has essential oils (clary sage, chamomile, bergamot) to help relax you. The other one doesn't have the essential oils in. I think the joint formula has eucalyptus in, which would be stimulating rather than relaxing.Hope that clarifies it, although it's 6 months since you asked the question!

Does this have a laxative effect like other magnesium products?

I can't see it acting as a laxative as it is applied externally. Magnesium supplements you ingest are famed for their laxative effects because the gut doesn't absorb much of the salts they use, so they pass straight through.

Would you recommend this for a menopausal lady?

I would recommend getting your magnesium levels checked for menopause as it’s too often we don’t get nearly enough magnesium and this alone would not be enough. I used this and was putting it on my tummy. My periods stopped and I assumed I was menopausal-blood tests suggest it won’t be long but not yet, stopped putting it on my tummy and periods came back.. But, I use magnesium citrate- no bulking agents and 5point collagen and that has helped so much. If that helps you at all. 
I love this spray. I combine it with a lavender diffuser and my sleep improving. Only thing is the spray leaves a dry residue if you don’t rub it in properly. The cream made my skin scaly so make sure you select the spray oil. I also added the plain magnesium oil recently as it was an accidental delivery. I’d recommend using that after a shower and this one 30 mins before bed. -I wouldn’t recommend washing it off until the morning as some state as our bodies absorb at different rates.

One thing to add, if you are low on magnesium, it will itch a little, an indication you are lacking, start with a few sprays and build up.
