Q: Can you see craters on the moon with it?

YES, but remember that it's an 8x binocular - light and easy to handle - perfect for wildlife - especially good for watching insects close up without disturbing them. The clue is in the name - papillon means butterfly - the binoculars are excellent for watching these nervous little insects. Remember though that cockroaches at 8x magnification may NOT be so entrancing!! I love mine and used them today at the coast - barnacles are interesting.

Q: Are the Eyepieces adjustable for narrow and or wide parting eyes

Yes the eye pieces are hinged and can be adjusted for wide or narrow set eyes. They also have adjustable eye cups that allows you to use without taking off your glasses which is very handy.

Q: Which way do you turn focus wheel for close up focus

As you hold the binoculars to your eyes on the right side next to the eyepiece there is a focus wheel that rotates to focus the distance its easy to miss as it is in the right eye piece the cog wheel for focus , take care

Q: Can these be used in front of phone or camera to take photos? Would it look good?

You can, but it's very tricky due to the small (<2.5mm) exit pupil at the eyepiece. You have to get the camera lens aligned to this tiny area and hold both it and the binoculars steady while taking the shot.
